I located the problem to TheGem Elements-plugin and did what suggested by James Huff and re-installed the plugin, but the problem stays…

Please help me quickly because our site is unvisitable atm!

Hi, I have this same problem with the letter ‘?’. I have changed the excerpt_functions.php code as suggested but the problem is still there.

Btw. the problem exists only in article excerpt, in headline the letter is nicely there.
