A bit of a hack but you could comment out the textarea in booking-fields.php and replace it with a hidden form field with an empty string as a value.

I’ve tried adding new events and editing existing ones, same result. When NOT in single ticket mode, and when adding tickets, there are two buttons on the overlay form:

Add Ticket & Save Ticket

‘Add Ticket’ reloads the page (not submits the form like I said above) and ‘Save Ticket’ copies the data correctly back to the add/edit event page. Unfortunately this data is NOT saving with the rest of the event ??

I find it quite perplexing that I am having trouble with such core functionality.

No JS errors either. Just nothing. Boo.

Ok, I think I got it figured out. It took a little digging through the database to find where the meta information was stored. It’s in the wp_postmeta table. I did a full dump of that table and looked for the file name of my featured image. I found it with meta_key _wp_attached_file. A couple rows below it there was the a meta_key called _thumbnail_id with a value of the post id in question. So here is my query:
