In reply to: ASP.net site to WordPressragzr,
are you sure? here they are saying that it is possible……..And would it be possible to have in WP some dynamic content pages created by an application?
For instance: dynamic sports related stats created after the player submits his score?
Thanks

In reply to: ASP.net site to WordPressThanks esmi, but I was asking about eventually integrating our existing site with WP, not the opposite.
I’m trying to understand if and how I could integrate a .net site with many custom scripts in WP.
And the main reason is because .net platform is so poor in terms of appearance and graphics….

In reply to: Renaming wp folder for testing purposeChristiNi,
thanks a lot for your precious help!!At this point I dare to ask you another question…..
I’m using a menu with several submenus and the main items were created as categories while actual pages from submenus were created as pages.
Example: Services (category): Service 1, Service 2, Service 3 (all pages).
Now if I click Services I’m redirected to a blog’s post generic page (it shouldn’t be a clickable link…).
How to make the upper items of a menu with submenus (what I called category, and in my example Services) not clickabe and not linked to any other page?
Again thanks

If I create a new user for customer, can I limit his access privileges?
For instance, not giving him access to the dashboard, in order to avoid any unintentional mess/damages?Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: Multilingual PluginBut it seems that only compatible themes can use WPML, or am I wrong?
To make theme WPML compatible is something up the author only or it can be done in some way also by theme’s user?
Thanks

In reply to: Side bar editingI’m working locally with XAMPP….
I’m new to WP and I simply need to know how to edit the right side bar of pages, for instance About us and Contact.
If widgets are needed to do that, a step by step description will be welcome.
I’m using Curio theme from ThemeForest.
Thanks!

In reply to: Slider setupBut don’t I have to go to Dashboard, Slideshow, create a new Slideshow, a new Category and some new posts and upload some images and feature them?
Then to go to Theme setting options for the theme?
Isn’t this the way?

In reply to: Slider setupEsmi,
you’re right and I have asked support on Theme Forest. But usually what are normal steps to setup a slideshow within WP?
Theme author said that I don’t need any additional plugin. so I removed WP Nivo Slider.
Could you please indicate me the correct normal sequence step by step?
Thanks a lot
