First, your website is down. Hope you can get it up and going again. I’m sure there is good information for using your plugin.

Also, I’ve created a new jquery theme, uploaded it and it works great! I love the fact we can customize the colors. There is a slight problem however. There seems to be a conflict with my theme. I use Headway and if I use the jquery custom theme (style tab), it will break the visual editor (blocks move). If I use one of the UI styles (not jquery) everything works perfectly fine. I don’t mind keeping it here to set up my site then changing it to the custom theme when it goes live, but it would of course be great if this conflict could be resolved. Any ideas?

Sorry for the late response. Must have missed it. Perhaps I can be a bit more clear. I guess you could say that categories and taxonomies are the same so you could change the name. I organize my site using taxonomies through a free plugin called types (wp-types.com). I also use the Views as well. The issue here is that I can create and organize each category and subcategories of the taxonomy very easily and its VERY SEO friendly AND it’s not limited to only posts. Types lets you create as many Custom Post Type categories (CPTs)as you want with linking subcategories. It also lets you do all this inside Pages, Media or whatever you want. It’s not limited to Posts. If you want to see what I’m talking about, you can try the types plugin. Should work brilliantly with faceted searching.

this plugin needs serious help. i installed, placed widget in widget area. it asked for a title. WHAT? that’s it? is there no setup? how about make a plugin that indexes what and where you want? No customization? the development version is slightly better but still like 3 selections and still didn’t work. did you consider making it search pages, post, custom post types, tags, images etc.? Fix it or delete it off of WP plugins. Your’ just going to drive people crazy with this broken 1/2 build plugin. Complete waste of time.

I’d love to have this too…too bad there’s not a complete plugin for this (that I know of).

This is exactly what I need help with. I’m sure others as well. Since this plugin is for Categories/Posts, I can’t use it. As I understand it, posts and categories are used for blogging but most of us today use WordPress for much more than that..rather a full CMS. As a result, custom taxonomies ARE the way searching is being handled by blogging expanded and CMS sites, as others have mentioned.

I really think this plugin is a amazing. Since a few of you may have rewritten the code to make this work with taxonomies, could guys please release this in the plug-ins area of WordPress for download? I think you’ll be surprised how many would download a taxonomy search over category search. Even better if the plug-in could be updated to include both. Would super appreciate it. I really need it and I have no idea how to recode this.
