In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Youtube Embeds Not Loading on Mobile@antoiub thanks for the reply! Appreciate it. When you tested it, did you use PC or mobile? The issue happens with me specifically on mobile android. (no issues on PC Windows)
Regards!
David

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Youtube Embeds Not Loading on MobileJust as an update to whoever’s interested; I deactivated Complianz and went back to another cookie consent privacy plugin, and the issue was resolved. I’m NOT saying the other plugin is better (perhaps Complianz has better features, I dunno); but the issue seems resolved. Regards.

In reply to: [Page Links To] Has the plugin been abandoned?Update: Old page redirects no longer working, 3 days after I deactivated. So I guess it just needed to propagate. Now changed to plugin “301 Redirects” and it works fine. I’m just using the free version which is good enough for my purpose. Note that there’s a misleading popup after activation which makes it look like you only have the Pro (pay) option, but just click anywhere on the page to close that popup, and continue using it free. Will continue to observe it for any bugs. Haven’t deleted “Page Links To” yet, just in case I need to reactivate it.

In reply to: [Page Links To] Has the plugin been abandoned?@tderouindesign Thanks for the reply! I deactivated the plugin before your reply above just to test, but STRANGELY, all the redirects still work! Weird I know, but I’m still observing and haven’t deleted the plugin yet, in case I need to reactivate it if the redirects stop working. Am I missing something? Or am I ‘out of the woods’ already you think (and able to delete the abandoned plugin coz it’s a security risk)? Regards!

In reply to: [Page Links To] Has the plugin been abandoned?Hello! Non-techie question. If I simply DISABLE or DEACTIVATE the plugin, will my old posts using it for redirect then re-redirect back to pre-use of the plugin, or will everything remain re-directed as is because I already used the plugin.
I want the redirections done by this plugin to remain, so I’m afraid to deactivate it. However, I no longer need to redirect for future posts, so I’m okay deactivating the plugin if doing so will leave my site “as is” now.
Thanks!
Update: I was able to “patch” the issue by deactivating Complianz, re-activating my old cookie notice, then purging the site’s LiteSpeed cache. After that, both the old cookie notice and Tidio re-appeared.
Still can’t use Complianz (which is great with my other sites) but at least the purging of cache was able to restore the site to it’s previous state.
Would still love to use Complianz instead if I could

In reply to: [Advanced Editor Tools] Wordfence Warning? File ChangesHi guys, here’s the response of Wordfence to me personally via email:

Hi [name redacted] thanks for reaching out to us!
?
I have had at least a handful of people write in today and yesterday about this issue. It seems that TinyMCE did an update and for some reason, it created some false positives in scans. I believe these are safe to ignore but if you wanted to be certain, you could check with TinyMCE support.
?
Let me know what you find!
?
Thanks![Name redacted]

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Conflict with Woocommerce SubscriptionsTHANKS FOR THE HEADS UP, MARTIN!
Because of your post, I noticed it now too.
Fortunately, after clicking “Thanks” the notice disappeared (unlike in your case where it wouldn’t disappear even after clicking thanks).
After that, the Woo > Subscriptions does SEEM to be fixed already.
Will continue observing for the next few days. Cheers!

In reply to: [AceIDE] Can DEACTIVATE this plugin after already “done its job?”Thanksss!
So I guess I’ll deactivate it first and see how it goes, then delete if I don’t notice anything strange in the coming week.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Disable / Enable Cache for Specific Pages/HomepageThank you!
Since the pages I want to disable Litecache for are posts which are for premium members, I simply tagged these posts as “premium” in WordPress, and then I “Do Not Cache Tags” which are ‘premium’ and I also “Do Not Cache Roles” and checked all boxes (customer, subscriber, etc.).
Would that work the same way? Or must I still paste every single URL of each post into the “Do Not Cache URi” ?
