In reply to: [Genesis Translations] Plugin doesn't work after migrationHa! Good news.
To recap:
1. It worked out of the box
2. I migrated
3. It stopped working
4. Tried everything but gave up5. Time passed and I learned a lot about WordPress.
6. Remkus reminded me about this thread by replying, and I figured I could poke around some more.
7. Apparently, the error was in wp_config. Here, I added ‘nl_NL’ (with apostrophe) instead of ‘nl_NL’ (with backticks). This fixed it. All works now. Sorry for blaming you all this time ??

Our website will be completely redesigned the next three weeks, perhaps it works then. Probably not..

In reply to: Smartest way to rebuild wordpressA subdomain! Ofcourse, how could I be so ignorant. An amazing thank you to you, sir. Kudos to your detailed and extensive response. I just need to check some things server-side. I have the following folder structure:
htdocs
-www
-domainname
-stats
-subdomainnameI installed everything in the WWW folder (as I was told by my server). And somehow these files got copied to the domainname folder (at least I thought that that was what was happening).
Due to some missclicks (never use a Wacom in Filezilla as things are easily moved to different folders!) some folder where moved. Now in order to update files I must place them in the domainname folder.
But the subdomain folder doesn’t have child-folders. WordPress is installed directly into that folder. So when I finish this big move and copy my fresh wordpress from the subdomain folder tot the domainname folder, what happens to the WWW folder? Can I ignore that?
I don’t know if this is a common setup for a server, I have experience with this provider only. I’ll look into it on the forums of the provider; but maybe someone here has answer also.
I’m trying the rebuild next weekend probably, I’ll keep you updated!

In reply to: z-index of individual menu linksHmm, anyone else has an idea? Not so familiar with CSS3….. Plus I need as much browser compatibility as possible.

In reply to: [jQuery Pin It Button for Images] Styling problemWell, it already works. When I went to my website to install this update, I noticed the button has found it’s intended place.
I cleared my cache before making my previous comment so that can’t be it.. But well, it works again! ??

In reply to: Ignoring the more tag on the first post of the first pageNo luck, in the first one you posted it ignored the more tag on all the posts, in the second one it gets applied to all the posts.

In reply to: Ignoring the more tag on the first post of the first pageThanks! But no succes. The More Tag is ignored on all the posts on all the pages.

In reply to: Manipulate margins around photos in a postWow. Just you’re comment made me realise how to fix this, I saw the light. And an obvious one.
Thanks a lot. I used Chrome to ‘Inspect Element’ on the image, and noticed it inherited it’s margins from .img.centered. I searched for ‘.img.centered’ in my stylesheet and edited the margins to my pleasing.
EDIT: You know I asked this question three times over the last couple of weeks – while building this website. No one could give me the answer while it was right in front of me. I just needed more CSS practice before it hit me.
