In reply to: [NSFW] [Yoast SEO] Very wrong count of words, and linksI see! And I’ve seen the discussion. The problem (using Italian as primary Language) is that the readability rating (the quill, if I understand well) is often ignored. One of the main troubles with Yoast SEO is that it appears cut for the English Language.

In reply to: [NSFW] [Yoast SEO] Very wrong count of words, and linksOk, nothing changes making a new Post.
I have inserted the Post in a site that I do not consider if not for trial, and this is the aspect of the post I’m talking of: https://www.giambalvo.cloud/una-intervista-per-il-2022/
I’m open to any suggestion, but the volume of people lookin at my blogs do not justify buying Yoast Premium.

In reply to: [NSFW] [Yoast SEO] Very wrong count of words, and linksYea, I’ve got the version 19.14, but the result is the same. Strange is that apparently only this post shows the problem!

In reply to: [NSFW] [Yoast SEO] Very wrong count of words, and linksThank you again, but the situation is really strange.
- I cannot perform conflict check, or I do not understand how to do it
- With any default theme nothing changes.
- This issue seems specific only with this post: I didn’t make any other post after this at the moment, but the previous posts mantain the green semaphore as before.
- I made an empy post, as requested, but of course, it shows red semaphore, and red quill.
- The version of WordPress used is the last available: 6.1.1
- The ?browser console reports:
JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 3.3.2

In reply to: [NSFW] [Yoast SEO] Very wrong count of words, and linksThank you, but I think this is not my case.
I use the old Classic Editor (not Gutenberg), and yes, I have a theme, but not using it in this post. This means that only the Classic Editor is involved.
I use this method for almost all my posts, and before YoastSEO Version 19.13 it was working as expected.
In template-tags.php, find this line: […]
Thank you, but I do not find this line in my template-tags.php!
My version is 3.4.3

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Social >Facebook not showing Default settings imagehow the default social image was showing before Yoast SEO v14.0 release when you share a page on Facebook that even no exists
I’m not sure we say the same thing!
If the page does not exist, the default is correct NOW, as in the past.
It is not correct, only when the page phisically exists in the blog, but the publication date is in the future (Scheduled).
So, I accept that you cannot administer this trouble, and I’m in position to handle this small flaw, but I want to be sure that you have understood!
Thank you.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Social >Facebook not showing Default settings imageAny page that isn’t published on your site means the relevant page doesn’t exist.
Yes, all correct!
The problem is that I MUST give a list of WordPress posts the day before issuing them in the blog. This is done for the sake of the editors in a Facebook groug limited to be seen by the editors.
If the page exists Facebook show me some existing image: this shown here is part of the ‘logo’.
While, being the page for the readers ‘not existent’ I will be glad sjowing the default image chosen for ‘non existent’ pages.
This was working as expected in some previous release of Yoast.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Social >Facebook not showing Default settings imageThis would confirm that the plugin was outputting these tags neither for version 14.0 or version 14.1 for a non-existent page
Ok, you know better than me, but I think that we are not speaking of the same problem.
In a previous post in this same Thread, I said that when the page ‘is’ NON EXISTENT, the Facebook post shows ok: as expected:
This is a not existant page writing a Facebook post
While it doesn’t work if the page exists, but is scheduled for a day in the future (let’s say next week):
This page exists, but it’s scheduled next week
Before, I do not remember in which version, the first situation, and the second one, gave always the same result:
This was what I saw in both cases in previous Yoast versionsForum: Plugins
In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Social >Facebook not showing Default settings imageWe can confirm that Yoast does not output image tags for use by Facebook.
Ok! And this means that…?
Is working or not working using Yoast v14.0?Tha caching from Facebook is a big trouble, evr!

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Social >Facebook not showing Default settings imageYes, it was working perfectly a couple of versions ago: I said it was not working with the version previous the v14.1. When I installed the recent 14.1, nothing changed.
So it was working with the version 14.0 and something: I don’t remember exactly.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Social >Facebook not showing Default settings imageOK: I do not think that I can describe this problem to Facebook. And I suppose that Facebook is not interested if a function inside Yoast SEO is not working as expected, possibly because Facebook doesn’t takes into account a request from Yast SEO.
If your team is not capable to operate a correction, I think I will live without this working as expected.
But again: in mu humble opinion, this is not Facebook fault!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Social >Facebook not showing Default settings imageThe meta tags and schema data is identical for both pages, so this doesn’t seem to be a Yoast SEO issue.
In thsi case it shpould only be a Facebook glitch! But you understand that I cannot ask to Gacebook, mekinh Yoast SEO working well.
If, the referenec to a page that doesn’t exist (yet) id not like a page non ecistent, I have undeerstood nothing.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Social >Facebook not showing Default settings imageOk: I have new information for you.
I made some tryal, and now I try to explain…
If I quote a page that doesn’t exist in the site, I get the requested image:
Non existent Page
If I use a link, that exists, but in this moment is only scheduled (In my opinion it should be the same as a non existent page!) I get a different preview:
Page that should not be visible now
In fact, if I use the link in the site, in this very moment I get this:
Page not yet visible
Waiting some support.
Thank you.- This reply was modified 4 years, 6 months ago by jumborex.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Social >Facebook not showing Default settings imageYes: your summary is correct.
I installed version 14.1, but apparently it’s not working as well.
But now ‘no image’ appears in the Facebook post.
I checked the image chosen for this situation:
https://www.altrimondi.org/sf/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/206699538.jpg
It exists, and should be working!Who, should open another thread?
Me, or @solkyoshiro?
