Found the problem, some lines in my domain’s .htaccess file were causing the problem.
I removed the lines and everything is working fine now.

Yes I tried with both FireFox and IE.
I also installed a fresh wp on the same server with no plugins and I get the same problem.

I tried other wp installs on another server and I have no issue so I think it is coming from the host. I sent a ticket about turning the magick quotes off let’s see if that works

I also tried other themes and the problem was the same.

Here is some additional information.
I just tried installing another blog on the same server, a fresh install with nothing in it and the same thing is happening.
I will look into the magic quotes, I don’t see them in the php.ini I have access to but will ask the host.

yes disabling plugins solved the problem.
I renamed the plugin folder back to the original name and all is well now.

Just tried to activate twentyten and now all pages are white.
I guess I can try a brand new install in another folder and just upload my saved wp-config file

I did exactly that… weird. don’t know what the issue is. Permissions perhaps?

I Have a feeling it isn’t… could you give me an example of where I would find some of this text? I can probably do a big find/replace
