Thanks for the reply. I will try your recommendation and hope it solves the homage meta issue.

As for my other pages I have added a meta description in the Yoast plugin but googling a page the search result meta stills pulls content not the description I wrote.

I have no idea why as I thought the SEO plugin meant you could write custom metas.

I would attach a screen shot but if you google “how to start a clothing line jcooper” you will see what I mean.

I have the same problem and I have to say I am surprised at the lack of help from Yoast. Maybe they are looking to push WordPress users to their paid version of the plugin where they provide customer support.

I downloaded the plugin, activated the plugin and followed the instructions to authenticate using my Google account.

The popup window opened asking me to accept “Google Analytics by Yoast would like to” etc and I clicked to accept.

Then…….. Nothing.

No Key.

Come on Yoast we need help!

Yes I do but the post info is coming from the theme there is no theme support for ayoshop.

Just to clarify if anyone downloads a theme, plugin or whatever from outside of wordpress then there is no support – correct

Yep I tried this. I am using ayotheme which is a non paid theme and I am not sure where the theme is pulling the CSS from.

If I change the theme CSS from display: block; to display: line all the content gets pushed and the post info does not come below the title.

I have been looking all day and would not have posted otherwise.

At this point I have not done any shortcoding. I have added the slider in a widget then added this to my page content.

I get a small square at the top right of each image. The images on fade load jerkily and there is the overlapping still. Very frustrating as I spent 1 day trying to find a solution and nothing clear is coming out of it.

The slider should work as it seems to on every other site I look at.

Any help as this really is driving me mad.

Hi Wes,

I have exactly the same problem with the Genesis Responsive Slider. Did you manage to find a solution as I looked at your link above and it seems to be still there.

I have tried all the above solutions but nothing is working. The slider is getting some CSS from somewhere but can not figure out where.

Can anyone help as this is really frustrating.
