No, but I have managed to complete this task.
I do now have another issues
1. mini cart not updating on wp homepage when product adding to cart
2. the top links for account, wishlist and logout
the current issues are being caused by wp cache and magento full page cache being installed.
so i think we need to hole punch these blocks.
Can you advise???
