@nlpro thanks for message, think it may be my ip being blocked as the login page works as expected via other sources/networks. Will check with my host to see if they can shine any light. As far as I can tell mod_security is not featured on my cPanel but it may be hidden away somewhere!

You were correct @joyously – Although I successfully edited the javascript to insert the html, the menu continues to fail on the same issues. Makes absolutely no difference though now includes my new html.

It looks like I will need to search the wordpress library for a wcag 2.1 compliant theme as my current theme is no longer supported

selectnav.js was as suspected the javascript file used to insert the menu so many thanks to @bcworkz.

Thank you also @joyously for your help but I am a little lost in the syntax in particular outside/attribute for <select>. Do you mean:- <select></select><label>Menu</label> and <select name="linkname"></select> or have I totally misunderstood.

That’s what I initially thought – but you can only set one option from the drop down list at a time – so when you use an event instance with the fourth Sunday of the month and another using the last Sunday of the Month you will get a repeated event every month when there are only four Sundays in that month. If every month had 5 Sundays then it would work ok. This is why I have set up the single on off events for the occasional months there are 5 Sundays.
