  • @chadbuttler I updated the two files using the repo that @excentricjester pointed me to and it worked great after that. Thanks for the quick update and for contributing to the WordPress community.

    Am I just blind? The GitHub repo only has older versions of files in it, nothing newer than 10 months? Am I missing a newer repo?

    @excentricjester Line 90 is blank now – be more specific if you can. The site I have this installed on needs this update as well –

    Are we to replace an existing line of code or add this to a blank line? The require_once section is under the function load_dependencies() { section.

    Thanks

    I had the same thing happen when I first integrated with MailChimp – this is a MailChimp function. Here is how to fix it –

    • Go to your MailChimp account,
    • Click on your name in the upper RH corner drop down;
    • Go to “Profile”
    • Go to “Settings” in the menu below your company name and select “Contact Info”
    • Scroll down to “Primary Account Contact” and input the info you want to show up when the double-opt-in is used and save it

    As far as I know, there is no way to turn this off now and is a way to protect people who subscribe. MailChimp is trying to fight abuse.

    I hope this helps,

    This is follow-up to my previous post. I went into the widget-data.php code and looked at line 49. The summary of the error highlights lines 49 thru 56 and states “No CSS Properties apply to current selection. Please select a styled element to see which CSS properties apply.” – I just FTP’d into my server and deleted the plugin folders for import/export and the website and admin console are back up. Please advise when the error is corrected (and which version is safe) and I will re-install the plugins.

    Thanks

    I am having the same issue except I cannot do anything now – after I did the update this morning it “Plugin updated successfully” I went to return to plugin and found I can’t go anywhere. Any action results in an error reading “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/spokenw/public_html/wp-content/plugins/widget-settings-importexport/widget-data.php on line 49” – I am in the middle of develping this site. How do I correct this? I don’t know PHP yet.

    Thanks
