Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: Word Press not coming upBecause of a computer reinstall, I just cannot install WordPress beyond the Config stage, I just go round and round in circles (i am trying to use Wamp on local host, never had this problem before!!!!)
Glad you like it!!!
New problem.
I used Duplicator to download and install TWO separate WP Sites from different webhosts.
Using the above “password advice” as above, via my-phpadmin, one of the two installed and allowed access to the backend smoothly, however the other (incidentally the more important one !!!), begins to install and then immediately logs on the the live site.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled this site three times on localhost with exactly the same result!!!And I thought that my troubles were over!!!!!!

In reply to: WP Installed in local host cannot access WP ServerHi,
After hours of stumbling I would appear to have managed to migrate a WP website into localhost via Ampps, but when calling it up I get the following error message which is absolutely greek to me.PressBackup: Please change the value of prefix, on config/config.php
Warning: Please change the value of prefix, on config/config.php in C:\Program Files\Ampps\www\ZAPolice\wp-content\plugins\pressbackup\.core\w2pf_init.php on line 54
Fatal error: Class name must be a valid object or a string in C:\Program Files\Ampps\www\ZAPolice\wp-content\plugins\pressbackup\main.php on line 15
Can you help once again?
