I see that the problem you’re having is related to PayPal and the integration with Tickets Commerce, on Event Tickets and not on Event Tickets Plus.
Our engineers are currently reviewing an issue that can be possibly related to the problem you’re experiencing. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Our support representatives we’ll be following up with you on the ticket you have opened. Although we’re always trying to improve our response times and make them as dynamic as we can, I checked the times and there were responses within the 24hs. Unfortunately, this week was the memorial day in the USA and that affected a bit our support resourcing.

Even though the rating is not related to this product in particular, and it is related to the PRO versions, I’d like to comment that we’re working towards finally including the long waited recurrence functionality for tickets. I’d also like to mention that we don’t specifically promote that functionality as part of Event Tickets Plus.
Back to recurring tickets, right now The Events Calendar 6.0 is in beta. This 6.0 version is including major technical and architectural changes around recurring events that will enable us to have a better experience and we’re going to be technically able to have recurring tickets. So, quite likely after 6.0 we’re going to move forward on this goal.

I see, then probably the problem as you mentioned can be compatibility with Beaver Builder. We’re going to be taking a look at that, and do our best to improve things with other builders.

Thank you for your comment. I’m sorry that you’re having these particular issues. Would you please share the ticket ID of the support ticket you’ve opened on our support platform?
FWIF, we have just released Event Tickets 5.3.2 which includes a fix for that particular issue. And it should also be fixing a problem with the QR Reader with Tickets Commerce.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I’m sad to read the description of your experience when using the ticketing solution.
I’m curious to see if you have opened a ticket on our premium support platform (couldn’t find any on wp.org) to see what your actual site configuration is.
For sure the things you describe with having extra tickets is something that’s not common, and we haven’t heard from other people experiencing the same thing. So, I’m curious to see if it was because of some compatibility issue or something. The same with the font and styling of pages.

Ok, I understand. But were you using RSVPs to have these confirmations or were you using tickets? If you were using tickets, then even if the price is zero (free) you’d need to set up a gateway. The only gateway that’s allowing free tickets is WooCommerce and for that, you’ll need Event Tickets Plus.

The internal reference is ET-1477. We’ll come back and update you once this fix is in place, once the new version is out.
