haven’t found the right code at the first place:
the solution is in the code in the style.css here:
.one-column #page {max-width: …px;}

Found it:

it’s the tag: <?php if ( has_post_thumbnail()) the_post_thumbnail(‘header-image’); ?>
that was missing in the header.php file just before </div> of the header tag.

Thanks to you i found the answer… I had forgotten to put the new menu as the primary menu in the menu “menu”.

my widget (primary) is added.
The custom menu is at the top horizontal and the widget on the right column.

So I have to erase the custom menu to have one only.

no the menu by default going with the theme…

Yes good idea,
I create a menu to be put into a widget and so without the homepage,
but now how can I delete the custom menu, because the new menu created will replace the custom menu … i inspected allmost every php file in order to find the code to erase…

Hi, i really like this theme you created, especially the possibility to change the template of a page with the ‘onecolumn-page.php’file.
I wanted to ask some help about it if you have time to spend for it:

I just want to have an index page for my wordpress site that will look different than the other pages, that is to say with the same header but without any menu.In the meantime the other pages could refer to this page in the general menu.
i have no notions at all of php must say.
