    I’m sorry for not being clear.

    The answer is no. I have not received a refund nor any indication a refund will occur.

    While it could be a language barrier, I’m dubious as all of his communications following my request to refund the purchase have had such a request included.

    So….. This has gotten much more interesting.

    After I posted the above review, the author started contacting me to help. All I had to do is give him admin rights to my site.

    As you might imagine, I wasn’t interested in granting him rights and would like to get a full refund per the refund policy on his website (which has since been removed).

    However, being a digital pack-rat, I saved the original wording of the policy… “If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can either return your order for a full refund or exchange it for something else. You can return or exchange your purchase for up to 120 days from the purchase date. Returned or exchanged products must be in the condition you received them and in the original box and/or packaging.”

    Unfortunately, contrary to the refund policy, he REFUSED to give me a refund until I gave him a positive review. Below is the last email I received from him…

    Thanks for your reply.
    We are really happy to refund you full money if you don’t happy with our plugin.

    Please i request to you that 1st remove or make Bad to Good rating on www.remarpro.com.

    Bad rating is harmful for us. Remember so many user happy with our plugin but may be some reason you don’t like so really we are happy to refund you full money.

    As you can see, he is quite adamant about not providing a refund until I change my rating.

    So, I am clearly not going to get a refund from the publisher. However, I haven’t given up on getting my money back by filing a dispute with my credit card company.

    Needless to say, the extortionist tactic he has demonstrated in the email above should impact the credibility of the positive reviews for this plug-in for anyone still considering purchasing it.

    I also paid for the pro version and haven’t gotten anything. My order number is 105546145845
