Hi – I just wanted to say thanks for the posts about this issue.

I too have the problem with my Cloudways server. The latest version of EWWW works fine on my old Cloudways server which is PHP5.5 and MySQL. But the new server is PHP7 and MariaDB10, and I get the same EWWW errors as the other posters in this thread.

Since the developer doesn’t seem to be responding, I’ll try. Where are you putting the hyperlink? The shortcode builder should work but the syntax would be:

[su_button url="https://yoururlhere.com" style="default"] Finders [/su_button]


here’s an example of one of mine:

[su_button url="https://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.com/" style="flat" background="#209a25" size="5" wide="yes" center="yes" radius="0" icon="icon: check-square-o"]My Text Here[/su_button]

I too have the same problem. This site in particular is GoDaddy WordPress hosting with SSL. I wonder if others have the same setup.

I have the same problem. I’d love to talk to GoDaddy support but their chat is down and I’m not waiting on the phone for it. Hopefully I’ll find a solution soon.

That is way beyond the scope of this plugin. It’s a good idea, but not something that will be done with this plugin.

I assume you figured it out by now… but it is an option in the “Sites” menu of your network dashboard.

I see the fix is in the latest version Vladimir. I can confirm it works.

It works in 3.8.1 for me… but you have to use the fix that is shown here.

Would be nice if the developer could fix this very simple thing. It’s only been 9 months.

The example in your post is not properly formed. That’s why it isn’t showing up.

To insert the shortcode into your post/page, click the “Insert Shortcode” button in your WordPress editor. Then select the one you want, fill out the options, and insert it.

You don’t need to type the codes by hand…

The proper syntax for a heading would be:
[su_heading]Heading text[/su_heading]

And by the way, linking us to your admin page does nothing. Are you going to give us your username/password for it?

Doug – you need to copy/paste that comment to about 100 other plugin developers!
