It’s possible the problem lies in the SQL query itself.
SQL_CALC_FOUND_ROWS could be causing it to hang.

Have you tried removing the loop and running your own query?

You could write raw SQL in there. If your query runs faster, then you know the SQL generated by WP needs better optimization.

Thank you for posting. Internet Explorer does not support CSS3 transitions which is the effect the slider uses to slide. So in IE you will see the slide change, but there won’t be any smooth animation effect. I will consider adding IE compatibility in the next release.

As far as the Title appearing behind the transparent black background goes, I’m unable to recreate this issue in Safari. I know that transparency and rgba backgrounds can be weird in IE but Safari seems to handle them without issue.

First of all I don’t profit on you purchasing the Genesis framework. I use that framework so I write plugins for it. So it is not a beg screen.

Yeah I understand what you mean and yes I was following Bootstrap convention. Regarding a carousel that shows multiple images, I do think that’s a good idea. It would be a fun thing to build. I may build that when I get some free time but can’t give any guarantee or timeline. Thank you for the suggestion.
