In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Failed to send message. Asks to check robot boxHi kraeMit,
I tested our site again after the latest updates and with version 5.3 of the Contact Form 7 plugin and I am able to successfully submit messages through the Contact Form. This ticket can be moved to Resolved.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Failed to send message. Asks to check robot boxHi kraeMit – Thanks so much for your prompt reply. I have configured the reCaptcha 3.0 Site Key and Secret Key and, as you indicated, I don’t need to include the “[recaptcha]” in the form itself. Yes, I agree, rolling back to a previous version isn’t such a great idea, but I didn’t know what else to do. Since my previous post, I have rolled back to a more recent version (v. 5.2.2) of Contact Form 7 and it is also working fine in that version. Maybe I’ll hope for the best and the next time you update the CF7 plugin it will start working again.
I figured out how to get this working. I needed to use the “App Password” instead of the account password in the setup.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Spinning wheel stuckWe solved our issue. We are using the “Webcraftic Clearfy – WordPress optimization” plugin and we needed to set the “Rest API Links” setting to OFF. Having this set to ON didn’t seem to cause an issue until recently. With it set to OFF, Contact Form 7 is working fine.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Spinning wheel stuckHi iOutShine – Thanks for the link and possible solution. Unfortunately, that didn’t fix the issue for us. We have sites using Contact Form 7 version 5.1.3 that are working fine. The one site that we upgraded to version 5.1.4 is stuck. Is there a place where we can download version 5.1.3 of this plugin?

In reply to: [Ultimeter] GTMetrix generates 404 File Not Found for ultimeter-custom.phpHi Ben – Thanks for your reply and for the update you made. It fixed the issue that I was seeing in GTMetrix. All looks good!
– JaneIn our case, this problem was resolved when we upgraded from PHP 5.4 beta to PHP 5.6. This was achieved by removing all PHP “AddHandler” statements other than:
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php56 .php
Hi Alin – Thanks so much for your reply and additional suggestion. It worked!!! Now everything is synced up. It didn’t show up immediately but I re-authorized and then everything was synced up.
Thanks!!
JaneHi Alin,
Thanks for your quick reply! I have updated the “Default URL” in the ADMIN > “Property Settings” section of our Google Analytics dashboard. After I select “Get Code” and finish the authorization in WordPress, I go to “General Settings” and choose the website from the “Select View” menu. (we have 3 websites off of the same base Google UA code). At this point the value of the “Default URL” is still the old URL and not the updated URL. I clicked “Clear Cache” before I began the authorization just in case the old URL was cached there. I updated the URL about 24 hours ago. Do you think I need to wait longer before your plugin will be able to retrieve the new URL?
If you have any other ideas, I’d appreciate it. I have used your plugin on several other client sites and I’d like to use it on this site as well if possible.
Thanks!
JaneHi Alin,
I’m having the same issue that @theophila was having. I updated the website URL in the Google Analytics account dashboard but that new URL doesn’t appear in the Google Analytics for WP plugin during the authorization in WP. You mention in your comment to check your View settings > Website’s URL. Would you provide some additional details about where I can access the View Settings > Website’s URL option?
Thanks in advance for your help! Thanks so much for checking in! We now have the latest version of WordPress installed but it’s possible when this error was generated (on August 12, 2016) that we didn’t.
Just so I know – Can you explain what would generate these error messages? Was there a particular file that was missing at the time the error was generated?
Update: It looks like there’s an issue with the “All in One Security” plugin interacting with the Email Encoder Bundle plugin. If we deactivate the “All in One Security” plugin we are able to update the Email Encoder Bundle plugin with the “Update” menu item.

And typo in my previous post. “there way” should have been “their way”
We are happy campers now.
