In reply to: [Blog Copier] Siteurl not changing from copied siteActually, this problem fixed itself in the wake of the WP 4.0.1 upgrade. From memory, the WordPress MU Domain Mapping plugin released several minor versions. The problem went away without me doing anything, but I put it down to those upgrades.
My multisite uses subdomains.

In reply to: [Plugin: Buddypress] Unable to access Buddypress suppport forumHi John
Thanks for your message ??
I figured it out…
At www.remarpro.com I was logging in with my email address and password. However, the Buddypress login window doesn’t allow you log in with your email address. This must be standard WordPress behaviour because I’ve noticed it on my multisite.
I’d also tried a username but it wasn’t the right one!
Thanks for your help ??

In reply to: [Blog Copier] Siteurl not changing from copied siteI have the same problem.
Like Michael says, all good though if I edit the siteurl in Site Settings.
You know what?…
You’re right! I received host up and down messages from my colocation provider two days ago. It just happens that I’d also just installed Wordfence.
Thanks for being so lightning quick and spot on! ??

In reply to: Accessing WordPress functions from external php programHave found a way around this. Am using a browser and passing the password in as a variable in the URL. Still goes over the net but it’s unclear that it’s a password.

In reply to: [WordPress MU Domain Mapping] Rewriting domain URL in address barYes I ditched the Multisite Plugin Manager.
I’ve created a template blog and am using blog copier, so I can live without MPM.

In reply to: Image URLs are mapped to multisite rather than domainThanks Mika. I had to uncheck the ‘Redirect administration pages to site’s original domain (remote login disabled if this redirect is disabled)’ box in Network Admin-Settings-Domain Mapping to access the dashboard at shannaprovost.com.au/wp-admin. Then to change the header URL I clicked ‘Remove Header Image’ and Saved before adding it back in again. (Just re-adding the header image didn’t work.)
Thanks heaps ?? Really appreciate your help Mika.

In reply to: [WordPress MU Domain Mapping] Rewriting domain URL in address barFound it. At last! Cloned my multisite so I could pull it apart and found it was a conflict between the WordPress MU Domain Mapping plugin and the Multisite Plugin Manager plugin.
Thanks for your help Ron.

OK thanks Brandon. Would be great to enact that. I have clients who are trying to make a living off their websites. It’s OK having the link there but we need to keep people on the website.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Easy Table] "NLINE BREAK" displayed when using "|" as row delimiterHi takien
Yes sorry, should have marked this as resolved. A couple of weeks ago I removed a row further up the table and the error at the end disappeared. I’m not sure why…
Thanks!

In reply to: [WordPress MU Domain Mapping] Rewriting domain URL in address barSorry Ron, I redirected rotarymerimbula.org.au to their old site last night. Should have posted a new test link.
damondavies.com has the same problem.
Still don’t understand – a blank line at the beginning of what? By output, you mean the page source? (Sorry to be a dunce lol. I don’t understand why page contents would affect the address bar unless there’s a directive in the header.)

In reply to: [WordPress MU Domain Mapping] Rewriting domain URL in address barStart of source is
<!DOCTYPE html> <!--[if IE 6]> <html id="ie6" lang="en-US"> <![endif]-->
(No blank line there)
Start of page div is:<div id="page" class="hfeed"> <header id="branding" role="banner"> <div id="header-content" class="clearfix">
Is that what you mean? – the blank lines between the page div and the header?

In reply to: [WordPress MU Domain Mapping] Rewriting domain URL in address barHi Ron
Thanks for replying!
No, primary domain check is not disabled. Primary domain is rotarymerimbula.org.au.
Have put screen shots here – https://webhive.com.au/troubleshooting/
I have this problem across all my blogs. I usually solve it with the ‘Home’ setting but that causes other problems. (It breaks the login and Jetpack settings links.)
It didn’t happen with the first couple of blogs I created. I’ve tried disabling all plugins on the blogs, to no avail. (I haven’t tried disabling all plugins on the main blog though.)
Thanks!
Jackie
