In reply to: [List category posts] How to put a gap between post list? You’ll want to use CSS for that.
Try putting this in the “Additional CSS” blank in your theme’s customizer”.lcp_catlist li {padding-bottom: 1em;}
Nevermind, it seems that this is by design in order to get people to buy premium in order to have both options..
I’ll just switch to a different ad injector, good thing I realized this after adding only 6 ads.
Your app must be either in development mode or be approved by Facebook for pages_manage_posts permission.
My app was submitted and approved by Facebook, yet I still get this error. Any ideas?

In reply to: [Rich Reviews by Starfish] Ratings disappear after update 1.8.3I assume you are referring to the [RICH_REVIEWS_SNIPPET] shortcode? I too am having this issue..
I get 0 out of 5 based on 0 reviews when using the id= attribute, but when using the category= attribute it uses the average of all the reviews on my site and not just the category specified.

Apparently neither
%HCT-product_cat%
nor%HCT-product_tag%
work…..but
%HTAGS%
works for woocommerce product tags, while%HCATS%
does NOT work for woocommerce product categoriesI’ve been using %HCATS% and %HTAGS% for woocommerce product and regular posts for years, so they definitely both used to work.
So… what if
%HCT-product_cat%
isn’t working either?Thank you!

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Fix for Primary Category not working in WooCommerce ProductsIf setting a Primary category in woocommerce products only works with a premium add-on… you should remove the option to even set a primary category in woocommerce products with the free version of Yoast (without the WooCommerce SEO add-on)…… because I’ve wasted countless hours troubleshooting this “problem” just to be told it looks like it works but it really doesn’t and you have to pay. That is terrible.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Fix for Primary Category not working in WooCommerce ProductsIt used to work fine and only recently started acting funny after updating, so basically free functionality was removed to make it premium? Weak.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Two Product categories showing in google searchNope – That is the Womens Shop page, and it’s showing “breadcrumbs” for SHOP because that is the main page/category that Shop-Women is inside of, from a breadcrumbs point of view – if you hover the link u can see it’s actually the shop-women page. ?? Yeah, it’s not ideal, Google may update it later so that it says gifturlove > Shop > Shop-Women, but it’s not an automatic thing.
Also it looks like you have started manually setting Titles instead of letting them be set by Yoast because now some of your titles in Google SERPs are keyword stuffed and truncated:
I suggest you start viewing the source of pages you are working on by right-clicking the backgrounds of pages in question and then and selecting “View Page Source” from the menu that pops up. Google only scans your site every so often to update the SEO Titles and Descriptions found inside the <title></title> tag and <meta name=”description” /> tag.. so focus on making those tags in your page sources correct and the Google SERPs will be fixed by Google the next time their crawler hits those pages.
You know.. if you set the category descriptions on your product categories, you could use the product category descriptions snippet variable
%%ct_desc_product_cat%%
in your Yoast SEO Product Category Titles and Descriptions…- This reply was modified 5 years, 7 months ago by jsnowbusiness.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Can you set a default Meta Desc on Products with Product title? However, I recommend changing up that template some because 100 products all having basically the same meta description except for a few words will be viewed as duplicate content in Google’s eyes.
Try adding in the category andyor tags of the product, as well as attributes if they are used.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Two Product categories showing in google searchI checked the pages/posts/categories shown in all those screen shots, and when viewing their page source code all of their <title></title> entries have just the name of the page/post/category, except for the “Kids” page, none of them include the site title or “Trendy Jewelry” which again leads me to believe that Google itself is adding the “- Trendy Jewelry”. If a website’s supplied <title></title> is too short, Google will alter them in search results to better suit what it feels it should be – I believe that is what’s going on because here are the actual page titles of the posts/pages/categories in question from your screen shots:
<title>Kids - Gifturlove</title> <title>Home 'n' Decor</title> <title>Privacy Policy</title> <title>Women</title>
Interestingly.. Google output the /shop-women category as “For women – Trendy Jewelry” when the actual title in source code is just “Women” and the url is “shop-women”.. Google is definitely altering your site titles because they are too short.
As for the /kids-fashion category being correct, I think perhaps you have set this category’s name manually is the edit category section for it to be working while the rest are not.
Also, it could take weeks for google to pickup new site titles that you are working on, instead of looking at Google SERPs you should be viewing your pages/category source codes to see what your Yoast Settings are outputting.
Have you gone to
https://www.gifturlove.com/wp-admin/options-general.php
and confirmed your “Site Title” is actually set?- This reply was modified 5 years, 7 months ago by jsnowbusiness.
