In reply to: [My Calendar - Accessible Event Manager] Grid view table very narrow@kgrrtt2004,
Well, I did find a solution – I changed the calendar plug-in to All-in-One Event Calendar by Timely. I like using CP Easy Form Builder, which may or may not have been causing the problem with My Calendar, either way, the new calendar plugin works without an issue. Good luck!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Compatiblity with wordpress 3.8I can install the calendar plugin (version 1.10.11 from the website) manually successfully, and it does not crash my site (I am using WP version 3.8.1)and NOT using W3TC, however when I to to the settings, the area under General Settings says “If the form below is not working, click this link.” However clicking the link does nothing, and the settings pane never appears. Nor does refreshing the page resolve it. In the right pane, the Timely News also has a spinning circle that never stops. Is this another plugin conflict issue? The version from the WordPress plugin downloads (version 1.10.5) works perfectly. Thanks.
Hi Rob,
I did make that edit, and the color of the words “Powered by” has not changed. Overall, it’s not that important. We may be changing the background of the area where it is placed anyway. Thanks for your suggestion.Joni

In reply to: [My Calendar - Accessible Event Manager] Grid view table very narrowYes I do! Thank you, I will investigate that.
So I purchased the Pro version, but am still having problems, now when I add in
iPhone * Mobile
iPod * Mobile
Android * Mobile
BB * Mobile Safari
BlackBerry * Mobile Safari
IEMobile/10.0 * Touch
IEMobile/7.0
IEMobile/9.0
webOSI do get the mobile site on my tablet, however as soon as I access the mobile site on my tablet, when I go again to open the site on my PC, the mobile theme comes up again. When I clear the cache, the site comes up correctly on my PC, but when I access it again on my tablet, it comes up on the PC again as the mobile site. It appears that it is caching the mobile theme and serving it to the PC. Can you tell me how to correct this? Thank you.
I am using the Quick Cache Lite version. Am I able to exclude the above User Agent strings? Could you please explain how to do that? Our site displays the mobile site on the desktop computers also. Thank you.

In reply to: Odd URLYes! I just found that out as I was combing through my plug-ins again. It is added by their Address Bar Share tracking. Thank you for your reply!

In reply to: [Simple Full Screen Background Image] Image not resizingCould you please tell me what the optimum size for an image needs to be? I’m trying different sizes and it seems to be hit or miss, even using the same size does not consistently display correctly. Thank you.

In reply to: [Slideshow] Random slideshows keep appearing instead of just oneOk, well, I had removed the slideshow code from the post and saved the post, and I just added the code back in again. I refreshed the browser (trying it in IE, Chrome and Firefox), and the slideshow is remaining on the correct one. I really have no idea what was causing it to change to a different slideshow on each refresh, so if anyone has any ideas, I’d be interested to hear your thoughts!

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Line break between checkbox and label in IE onlypebble_garden,
I found another plugin called Form Maker, and it works fine. Try that and see if it works for you. I’m using the free version and it is nice. Good luck.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] Could not create directory…Now my wp-super-cache folder is owned by user “apache” and group “apache” so I cannot even delete it. What’s up? Can anyone help? Thanks.

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] Could not create directory…I changed my wp-content permissions to 777 and the plugin installed. Then I changed them back to 775, and now I get the message “your cache directory needs to be writable for this plugin to work”. I’m not leaving the permissions to 777, so what happened that it used to work but now does not? Thank you.
Hi glatze,
Perhaps “cache” was the wrong term to use – “sync” would be more of what I’m looking for, hence my curiosity of the Syncback function. I’d be happy with 3-5 seconds, but I know what you mean about even that being slow for some people. Thanks for your reply!
