Any update on this? I have been trying to get featured images to show up in a rating list for a few days now.

Been editing gdrts–stars-rating–list–shortcode.php and messing around with <?php the_post_thumbnail(); ?>

One weird thing that i did notice.. is that i do see updates to the top 10 when i am logged in as admin. If i am logged in as a non-admin… The images shown in the top 10 say 0 views.

Yep it is checked. I can see that it updated and showed a few changes last night, but nothing has changed in about 8 hours. About 10k people visiting the site a day and i can see on analytics that lots of stuff is being clicked.

Ah it was set to mean rating. I changed it to viewcount.

Same. None of the html buttons show up at the top of the edit page. If i disable the plugin they show up.

ok i have been reading that i can do this using a filter, but i dont see anywhere to set a permalink when creating a filter. Do i use one of the custom fields and put the url in the value field? I tried putting it in the value field, but when i go out and look at the filter list it does not show a permalink.

Turns out it is the browser cache setting inside of W3 Total Cache that is messing it up. Even with the cache cleared it doesnt work, but if i turn the settings off.. i am able to create albums again.

I updated to the new version this morning.

When i click on album admin, i still do not have the button at the top to create a new album. My settings are identical to the screenshots from yesterdays thread. I restarted apache and cleared out my cache after updating.

Yea maybe there can be different algorithm options for different kinds of sites.

I have a picture site with about 500 posts currently. Half of them have 75+ votes and they are all beat by posts that have 3×5 stars.

I guess one way to do it would be for me to use the option to only show posts that have 10+ votes in the rating screen

Maybe for every 10 5star votes.. it beats 1 4star, or something like that.

I made a test.

Post with 200 5 stars and 1 4star
Post with 4 5 stars.

The post with 4 5stars beat the 200 post.

Yea…. I am a pro subscriber and will not be renewing my sub if this stays the case.

I am sure it is hard for you guys to come up with algo changes and test them, but it just isnt worth it to me if it isnt fixed.

Weird.. I upgraded to pro and it said pro after i synced my license.

Now it says i am basic again : (

nm found it. site-rating.css : ) Just searched for 100px and changed all height instances of that to 150.. boom done
