I have the same issue, and have had for ages (many versions).

I hadn’t noticed, until reading warezmoney post above, that if I have no paragraph formatting, and have just a plain <p>text</p> it works fine. Otherwise it says the keyword is not in the first line.

Surely this is a fixable bug??

I’ve had the same situation. I’ve had to use a plugin that forces WordPress to use GD library to process images (Default to GD)

My hosting provider tells me theyt are up to date with library files, and my wordpress site is using to many resources. Although they have yet to be more specific

After much testing, and probably screwing up my file and folder security, and then fixing it. It appears to be a problem with my hosts support for the Imagick library. I have defaulted to the GD library as per the link

My upload issue was fixed by using the default-to-GD plugin described in the link. after adding the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin back in, this was also fixed.

Im getting the same.
I also cant upload any new images
Seems to be only since upgrade to 4.0, but not sure
Have tried disabling all plugins.
I am trying security permissions on the folders and files
Still no luck

Mine wont upload any images.
I’ve renamed them to very simple names.
Tried uploading images that have already been uploaded, renamed first.
It just wont make it

Tried with IE11 from a different computer and internet connection
Same issue

Tried IE 11, just to make sure it wasn’t a browser (Chrome) issue.

Tried resetting all the folder and file permissions under uploads.
No change

I have the upload issue since upgrading to 4.0
Happens with the bulk upload or single file upload method
I have disabled ALL plugins and no change
I end up with a grey icon as if it has made an entry but doesn’t have the image
