I am curious what you mean by “slide to open”. On my site, the menu itself slides in from the right when my own hamburger button is clicked, and slides back of to the right when the button is clicked again or anywhere else on the page. What exactly are you refering to?

By the way, I had thought my client purchased a Premium Standard license a couple months ago when I first downloaded. After looking for the license earlier today (unsuccessfully), I found out that the purchase never occured. I will fix that. I am so pleased with this plugin that I am going to purchase a Dev’s license but this current client wants their own separate license. Which is fine.

This function seems like it should be part of at least your premium Relevanssi version. These type of results seem to be obvious and likely what most people are really after.

Perhaps add this as an option?

Okay, I got it working. I had to place your normal button off-screen to hide it. If you select to use the shortcode instead of the standard way, shouldn’t the standard button be hidden if you don’t enter a shortcode?

No, it does not use get_search_query() but, the input field is named ‘s’. Isn’t that all I need?

You have apparently altered the wrong file.
The one that needs this change affects only this plugin, not any WP core files.
This simple fix works perfectly.

I have the same problem with a simple custom post type.

Unrelated: I assume you are doing more with your temporary $parent_id that is not shown since what you have will of course not give you a parent_id. (Sorry if this is already obvious.)
