Thank you for your help. Apparently when I changed the cache settings with the hummingbird plugin, it messed up something with my host plugin. I have resolved the issue. Thank you again.

Correct. I edit the theme/template, but the website still has the sample texts. I have tried clearing the caches on wordpress as well as my browser. I have also tried turning off plug-ins. The hostgator support representative also tried these things and nothing has worked.
