Ok I was looking in the classic editor settings and not the Advanced Editor Tools settings to add and remove, Drop and drag the buttons.

Problem solved!

Getting old and brain dead is not good!! lol

Thanks for the reply Andrew. Your “workaround” put it back to the way I have used the editor since I started using WP. I did NOT know that was there. LOL They messed up a lot of stuff, like if you click a link in the open tab, it used to warn you and ask if you wanted to leave.. Not any longer and I loose edits if I am not careful!

So, now I am back in the saddle again as far as what I am used to, as far as the editor box goes!!

I was alerted from another post that it’s a glitch for Firefox. I tried Chrome and it scrolls in it.

Word is a fix for Firefox is coming soon. I don’t know if Firefox or Classic editor is going to fix the problem. Just need it fixed.

Well it is happening on several of my 12 websites. I upgraded to premium and things got worse here is one. https://www.exposingsatanism.org/ I was asked via a paid support ticket to disable the cashe and then check.

“Do you currently have the WP-Optimize cache enabled? If so, please could you temporarily disable the caching feature? Do the issues still occur in this case?”

Yes the issue is still there and I have disabled the cashe once again for you to see. There are other issues that we probably should not discuss here. I have sent replies to the first support ticket and as of yet have not gotten any response!

Getting the same on one of my domains.

The last rules update for the Wordfence Web Application Firewall was unsuccessful. The last successful update check was March 29, 2020 7:44 am, so this site may be missing new rules added since then. You may wait for the next automatic attempt or try to Manually Update by clicking the “Manually Refresh Rules” button below the Rules list.

No way to manually update as I am using the free version. I assume that feature is in the premium version.

After I am done editing after I hit publish, and then hit view post it does it..

I thought of the plugin conflict and tried that. Still does it.

I have 9 websites that are set up the same way with the same plugins. It dose not do it on but only one of them. And wouldn’t you know, it is the one I post on the most!

I do use that. However, every time I use that it, a popup asks if I want to leave the page. Very annoying! The one that is missing did not do that.

OK! I did not even realize that and did not try clicking in another area of the box. I always clicked close to the blinking marker by habit!

While I got your ear, is there a way to add custom emoticons to the the default list! I tried awhile back by adding some to the default folder but they did not show up in the list. If not, that would be a great feature to add in an update

I tried what you suggested. Two different browsers with addons and extensions disabled. Still does it. If it were a js problem, would it not affect ALL pasting anywhere on the page? It is just limited to the title box for some reason.

Here are a couple screen shots of what happens when I right click the box. I did find that if I type at least one letter or number in the box, then right click, the menu with paste will appear.

OTTO The theme is Generatepress in the themes. I have the pro version https://generatepress.com/

I looked for that string of code in the php and could not find it anywhere.

JNashHawkins Same theme on ALL websites. Just the newletter causing the loopback on one. 2 of the websites do not have all of the plugins the others have so it may be some kind of a conflict with the theme. I am going to have to contact them as I pay for it.
