I know you said the plugins were already deleted for you, but maybe someone else can be helped by my post. I had this same issue (WP 2.6) and found that it was the plugin called wp-comment-remix that was causing this to blow up for me and display a blank page when I tried to log in. I didn’t dig into the plug in to see why, I just removed it and continued.
