@Ypyogi sorry, it seemed like we were possibly related in the issue. I fixed it, turns out jetpack plugin was the problem.

Mine died also with the update to 4.1.2, trying to fix now.

This happened to me also, still trying to fix.

1. Basically, activated WP Smush it on V4 of wordpress.

2. Attempted to do a Bulk Image Compress

3. Failed

4. Discovered I could no longer upload or view my images within Media Library (Images on the site were fine)

5. Disabled then Deleted the plugin,

6. And still cannot upload or view my images within Media Library .

I have the same problem, I see “Older Posts” however when clicking on it, it doesn’t go anywhere. I grabbed the default code from wordpress and dropped it in, and removed the themes older/newer posts.
