I do have a license and if you’d bother to check it out, you would know. Plus i had before this issue appeared.

How does it come to this? Stating here that i don’t have a license, when i do have one? c’mon!!

    Hi Rashed,

I’ not making any accusations but rather, i’m trying to find out what it’s happening here – it’s not misinformation as you are saying and i have no interest whatsoever on that. But given that noone has bothered to reply to my email to Support, i’m sharing a link here that provoked my email to you and on this forum: https://pasteboard.co/y9Qa0lTB0pmd.png

    Hi Jan,

Maybe so, and i’m aware of this in various other occasions. However, maybe i should clarify two things:

    • i am a paying customer for this plugin and it’s equally fantastic when i get a reply and an issue solved through the Support email,
    • more relevant though, is the nature of the issue, as it obviously regards security and may have compromised my site. In anyone’s book that would be understood as serious.
    • Prior to posting here, i’ve also contacted their email support. As yet, there hasn’t been any reply (i made sure that the subject line reflects the issue). It’s the ‘fantastic’ bit again.
    • in anyone’s books, the issue would suggest it is serious given
the logins are from the developers. There are no other suspicious logins from other accounts who have (or had) admin roles.
    • when i get replies from Support, these are signed by the same people who reply here (as above)
    • not quite sure how the developers of the (or a) plugin can be solely perceived as ‘volunteers’ given that they are responding about issues that may arise from their tech. I would have thought that is an intrinsic responsibility for the what one is releasing for use. That’s what i do at my end, and have never really considered that to be as a ‘Volunteer’ but rather something that goes with the job, by default.

    • I agree about setting ‘expectations appropriately’. This is based on the initial expectation and develops over time while dealing with a service. The service can live to a reasonable sense of that, or go well beyond it (most do), or hardly meeting them. I think it’s obvious what the history here is

nearly 24 hours gone by…. no reply here or in support… business as usual then?

    (@jpsarmento)

This issue has been tagged as “Resolved”? – this is not the case, it has not been solved. No doubt it will be tagged again as being “Resolved”, when it hasn’t.

It’s impossible to know how many users asked for this feature to be working, as usually, you kick the issue to the support email. Nevertheless others have mentioned it on this forum.

Besides, no-one is asking for a ‘new feature’, but rather for a native feature to work.

Through the Support email (also received today), you said:

We apologize for the delay in addressing your issue. Our development team is actively working on a solution, and we are nearing the release of the latest version of the plugin

but what does it mean? This has been raised over a year ago with the same reply. Nothing has changed. There have been new releases of both the plugin and the Backer theme, and this hasn’t been addressed… why?

The approach taken against your customers is not great. If there’s an issue, it should be solved. The options are there in the dashboard but they do not work and TheMeum hasn’t bothered to fix this. Unless you want to say, clearly, that this feature does not work with the software you sell. The other option? – the right option – would be for this to be addressed once and for all, as it should.

It seems obvious, that by doing so, you would also be able to sell it on the basis that ‘private’ campaigns are also available.

Are you saying that this is not going to be fixed anytime soon?

    Hi Ryan,

    This issue has been solved.

There is however, another issue i raised in another ticket (2 or 3 infact): the ‘Hidden’ function of the Woocommerce does not work on WP Crowdfunding campaigns… and it should.

    Thanks.

    Email sent re- images.

Will send a separate one on the “hidden’ products, that are not hiding.

dear @largbasket , i’ve just sent the email to support.

    thank you.

Hi. Thanks for coming back on this.

    I’m using PHP 7.4.33

    (@jpsarmento)

1 day and 16 hours later and no one bother to reply here.

You may say that the issue is with the theme, but the differences are telling:

    • a theme that has 70,309 sales
    • a theme that last year alone had 10 updates
    • the developers have a decent and fast support system

compared to what is going on here with both WP Crowdfunding and themes associated with it by TheMeum:

    • WordPress itself describes it better: “This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.”

Is this it? you’re just going to let your costumers hung out to dry??

can you please address the issues that need to be solved.

    hi again,

    this is what i’m getting.

    Thanks for that.

Until recenctly it would say that it needed an update and all worked… but that notice is not there anymore.

I don’t seem to be able to download it.

    Hi @munayam ,

    Sent an email to support.

As you’re likely to know the issue can be reproduced easily in your own demo. If you make a campaign/product ‘hidden’, that campaign/product will still show on the TheMeum Crowdfunding Grid product element as well as on searches ((/?s=).

Looking forward to having this issue solved.
