Sure, I reached out to them yesterday and they did confirm you have made the request and that the stock status field does not sync. There are also other user friendly items that need to be fixed. Hopefully that can happen as I really like the product. It is a little glitch but makes life harder. Other than that, it is a perfect solution for our business. Thanks!
No, I think this has been the problem from the start. It would have been beneficial to know the stock/out of stock alert wasn’t a synced attribute before you had me testing, deactivating plugins, and changing themes. This is my third time I have contacted you and gone through hoops. I am going to reach out to Zettle/Paypal, because if I can’t get what I need out of the POS integration for WooCommerce than I am just waisting my time and money. Thanks.

Just wanted to give you an update and let you know I switched themes to Astra Pro, all plugins are updated, and after a completed new product library replace sync (which is problematic as you have to keep refreshing the page as it gets stuck in the sync process) I am still having a problem with the stock status not changing to out of stock status on the WooCommerce All roducts page if the inventory is changed to zero via the Zettle Terminal. I am positive it is a problem on your end as disabling plugins doesn’t solve the problem and I have an updated theme. There is nothing else I can possibly check. Mine isn’t updating to “Out of Stock” status when the inventory is changed to zero via a Zettle POS sale. I would send you a snap shot, but I don’t know what else I could show you. The product quantity is zero and the status reads “In Stock” on the All Products screen. I have the following plugins. If you have any suggestions let me know. I guess I can just deactivate each one and see what happens, though I hate to do that.

WooCommerce is telling me this is an issue on the Zettle app end. So, I am just getting pushed back and forth. Not sure what to do.
I would think it would be a Paypal Zettle POS bug or issue, as WooCommerce is working fine. It is the Zettle POS app that is not updating properly.
WooCommerce – All Products page. Lists stock status as “In Stock” or “Out of Stock”. Once inventory hits zero, the stock status on the All Products page changes from “In Stock” to “Out of Stock”. This works fine with WooCommerce when it stands alone.
Since adding the Zettle Paypal POS plugin, purchases made through my Zettle terminal when I scan the UPC and make a sale are being taken out of inventory in the WooCommerce side like they should. The only problem is when the stock hits zero, the “In Stock” status is not updating to “Out of Stock” status. It should do this when the inventory quantity hits zero.
This status is important in order to see what stock needs to be reordered. Without the stock status update, you would have to open up and go in each product listing in WooCommerce to view the quantity.
I can update the stock status manually to “Out of Stock” for those products that sell out and show a zero quantity, but to do so I have to go in each product listing to view the quantity that is left. If it is zero, I update the product on the WooCommerce side and it then shows “Out of Stock” status on the Products page.
It appears to me that there is a glitch in the Zettle POS App with WooCommerce, that is only updating quantities sold, but not updating the stock status field.

Thanks for the reply. Paypal Zettle POS is telling me I have to reach out to WooCommerce for support. I guess noboy wants to help me. ??
I use product variations and have varation boxes checked to manage stock. I do not process backorders. I am getting no error codes and everything is working fine. I don’t think this is a plugin error. I contacted Zettle at Paypal and they said they have heard of this problem before and that I needed to direct the question to WooCommerce. Apparently it is a common enough error.

But I was able finally to get in the back end with the help of my web host and I disabled Events Calendar. I then disabled the Word Press Classic Editor 1.6.2 plugin I have on my WP dashboard. That plugin had created a problem with Yoast SEO in the past so I thought it might be the culprit again. I reactivated the Events Calendar and all seems to be good now. Honeslty, I don’t know why I installed the WP Classic Editor as I don’t need it. I deleted Classic Editor for good. Will open a new string if I run into more problems but all seems well. Thanks!

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Slug Missing on Product PagesThe slug information is gone on every product page. The slug is normally populated by the perma link. If I try to type in a slug it won’t save it. Nothing is wrong with plugins and all up to date.
