In reply to: [VS Contact Form] Widget to open the contact formSorry to be inintelligible.
In the widget, I am looking for the possibility to just have a button or a line or a field that, when you click on it, open a new page that contains the contact form. I do not wish to show the whole contact form displayed in the widget area.
Is thhis possible ? Thanks.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Nobs ? Share Buttons] Error 404 due to this extension ?Thanks,
I just deactivated the plugin to prevent the creation of erroneous links by teh sitemap generator. As these links contains &related=creativejuiz and &via=creativejuiz. I thought this was related to this plugin.
Anyway, thanks for your help.Forum: Fixing WordPress

There is one post in Italian that I don’t understand that seems to tell it’s a virus :All my categories have disappeared, if I deactivate the plugin many categories that I don’t know appear end many articles that are not mine also appear !

In reply to: [AccessPress Lite] Comments missing in PostsHello, we have discovered more : for the comments to appear or disappear there is a big dependency on what is coded in the fist tab (basic tuning) of the theme options of the accesspress lite theme.
1.If you choose a category for a blog, then only the posts of this category and of his children will display the comments field after the posts provided that you have checked all the tree categories in the post itself.
2.If you don’t choose a category for a blog on teh welcome page, then all the comments will appear but no dates will be displayed in front of the posts.
It tooks us many hours of investigation to figure out that; and we are not sure to have identified all these intricacies and dependencies. We are very disappointed that no information about that is shown on the tuning panels and tabs…
I hope this help.

In reply to: [AccessPress Lite] Comments missing in PostsHello,
we have identified the cause of our problem. I don’t know whether there is any relation with the theme. Up to now, I have not yet tried another theme as I fear to lost all the tuning made on AccessPress Lite. The posts for which the comments and other control information did not show up are classified in a second level category for which the parent category was not checked. After cross checking the first level category, the comments and all information (Postes on, by,…) are displayed in front at the end of the Post.
Note that I have not the same problem on another site with a different theme (twenty ten) and an older WP level.
Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your help.

In reply to: [AccessPress Lite] Comments missing in PostsHello,
thanks; we believe now that the problem is not associated with the installation of the last version. The comments section does appear on a page, this is what you probably saw. But, the comments section is not working on posts. This is really strange as I checked that the PHP code looks the same in a Page and in a Post.Regards

In reply to: [AccessPress Lite] Translation terms missingHi,
I figured out that .mo file is missing in the theme although the .po file is present. Using loco-translate does not solve the problem.
I used Poedit to create the .mo file and loaded it on my server. It ok now as most of the terms are translated now but two terms, at least, are absent for the accespress.pot and the fr_FR.po files, they are :-Posted on
-byWhat is to be done to get these terms translated ?

In reply to: [AccessPress Lite] Comments missing in PostsAs I told you in my fist message above, the “allow comments” as well as the “discussion” and “comments” in the screen options are checked. The comments disappeared after installing version 2.42 of this theme. Is there a simple way to go back to a previous level of the theme or to have the comments back in this level ?

In reply to: [AccessPress Lite] Translation terms missingHi,
Using loco-translate shows that most of the English words are correctly translated in French in the .po file but they are not translated when surfing on my site. For example : Posted in, Edit, More,…
Please have a look on my siteMoreover, in the source text the terms “Posted on” is missing.
Regards.
Thanks a lot, sorry for the late answer, I will try it as soon as possible.
But why I can no more open the French translation in the translation tab ?
In the Summary of Protection tag I have the text explaining the graphic truncated on the rigth and the tiem line dates are overtyped as you can see in the scrren copy located at
https://saint-jeannet.info/img/historique-spam.jpgI edited the po file with Poedit, just to understand that my translation was taken into account.
