Right now I have the Enfold theme enabled but I can switch to twentysixteen or we can perform troubleshooting steps I just need to do it fairly quickly as the client is reviewing it this week to go live so I don’t want to leave it in a deformed state for any long period of time.
I’ve gone through the API guide again and made sure everything is setup there correctly. It just doesn’t make sense to me if it were to be an API issue then my maps via the theme should not be working.
If we’re unable to figure this out quickly, is there a way to just disable make invisible the map part to the public? I don’t want it to show Map Unavailable to each person that looks at events.
Thanks!
I’m not using that theme, Zerif. With Twenty Sixteen activated it does the same thing.
My theme, Enfold, is working perfectly with its map widgets and things. It’s solely with Events manager that it can’t find any location.Yeah same problem here. Have tried with default themes and stuff.
When creating the location it says it’s unable to find it. It’s readily available on maps.google.com when I search it on there. The plugin won’t find any location at all. Thus showing a “map unavailable” on the front end.Any fix to this?? I would love for it to work.
THanks!

In reply to: [WP Activity Log] Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.Right with the order it’s in I would think I add the user and then check the box below it if I wanted that extra option and hit save. That’s why it caught me off guard. Then I just locked myself out.
I did mess around today a little bit, if either you check the box and then add the user manually OR check and uncheck the box a couple times it will automatically add the user you’re signed in as.
Maybe switch those two options space, the check box first if you want it and then if not, add the user below manually. Thanks for the responses I appreciate it, glad we could pinpoint the problem! ??
Have a great one!

In reply to: [WP Activity Log] Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.Figured it out! I was able to restore access using your method above in phpmyadmin and then pay closer attention when setting this time.
I type the user in the CAN MANAGE field and hit add, it adds. Then when I select the check box right below it to restrict access for others to even see it, it removes the user. At which point I hit save without realizing that it actually removed the user I added. So! This time I realized what it was doing and checked the box first, then add the user, then hit save. It’s working as expected now. Is that how it’s supposed to react?Anyhow thanks for the response! In good shape now.
Excellent sir that did indeed remove it.
Before the code worked in the functions and then the file desktop-switch and after this latest update now just this custom css works. Which is fine! Whatever the best practice for this is that’s what we’ll do. We get Pro for most of the times we use this but the ones that don’t are just being a pain. Now that this custom css is in place the next update WPTouch that comes out will it erase that or leave it in tact?
Thanks for the reply and assistance!
So I’ve successfully completed the upgrade and it looks to be all kosher.
I enabled debug mode, ran the upgrade again and looked at the error log which showed me this:
[25-Aug-2016 14:02:16 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function sanitize_fields() on a non-object in /home/aquabag/public_html/wp/wp-content/plugins/popup-maker/includes/class-pum-conditions.php on line 154
Looking at that file it’s calling I see this command:
return $this->get_condition( $condition[‘target’] )->sanitize_fields( $condition );;By modifying I was able to get it to work.
return $this->get_condition( $condition[‘target’] );
Let me know if taking that piece out is a problem or what the best action would be but I did put it back after the upgrade completed. Maybe manual clean up is in order?
Now I see all the new stuff like in the link you added on the last post. Thanks for all the help!
I believe it’s the new one? See shots below for reference.
editing popup https://tinypic.com/r/xcrfxw/9
trigger options https://tinypic.com/r/fkqv84/9If we can’t use it that’s ok, we just have it on the other versions of the site and it’s worked very well so we’d like to keep it the same if possible.
I have this same plugin on other sites hosted on the same server and even in the same Cpanel account so if it was an object caching problem on the server wouldn’t it affect all the sites?
Is there a way that I can confirm it executes? I added it to the functions.php just like I normally add other pieces of code and it didn’t break anything or give me any errors.
I did try running it again after removing the code and it still starts and then within a second it fails just like the screenshot in the first post there.
Thanks for the help! It works great on a separate mobile version of this site just having a heck of a time on the desktop site. They are different WordPress installs the other one being an older version of WordPress would that make a difference?
I have tried this and refreshed about 100 times and it doesn’t disappear.
Let it sit for 10 minutes and refreshed more. No such luck.
Any other ideas?Thanks!
I guess I didn’t mean replace so much as what is Google shifted it’s gaze to. Got it! We will continue working with it. Just wanted to eliminate the plugin if that was the issue, now we know it’s not. Thank you for the help Steve!
Is there any effective replacement to this? The release from Google said that meta description is used for snippets so would a short high-quality statement with valuable keywords be the replacement?
It seems that Yahoo and Bing still use keywords a little but not much so I would say it’s still useful to use that feature for those search engines right?I guess a big confusion was that it’s been working fine for two months and it was on 3rd page and gaining a couple weeks ago. Now the site is just totally gone so if nothing has changed with the plugin we’re just trying to track down what changed so drastically.
Thanks for the Quick reply Steve it’s appreciated!
