Hi finnj,
i have found out that ‘ultimate member’ plugin i am using for user login/regiatration is restricting backend access and redirecting to homepage.
i just set it to ‘yes’ and its working fine right now.

BUT, would you pls be kind enough to address one of my concern?
‘ultimate member’ plugin does not restrict backend access. but your pplugin doing it right now. and all is ok.
will that bring any vulnerability to the site so that by any means user can access some page in my /wp-admin area? how does UM and your RBA plugin collaborate themselves? and what are the security flaws lays open according to your opinion?

right now thats my biggest concern…

when i fire tinemce ‘add media’ button it fires ajax to -ajax.php with payload

cant the featured image be act like the same?

i did not find out the function or plugin that resisting from backend access.
i just installed ur new plugin above.
i have not yet checked whether it is restricting wp-admin.
but the problem is, it still loading frontpage when clicking on ‘set featured image’

also ur plugin Frontier Restrict Backend banned me from accessing backend…. /wp-admin!

i had to go to wordpress.com and deactivate the plugin and its ok now….
i think the issue is going to be complicated…
cant make out what to do

but when i use tinymce ‘add media’ button to insert image into post it works great and media access is restricted without using Frontier Restrict Backend. cant the same functionality be copied to ths link as well?

i have installed that plugin and activated it…. but same happens… should i find out which plugin is restricting backend access and remove that plugins control over backend? and u sure things will work?

for the above problem i cant invite people in my site… its incomplete

people from front end will write blogs and that will not have admin access…
i am usung Frontier Restrict Media for that…

In my case I had installed Frontier Restrict Media plugin so that each user can only access their own media files.
That plugin i deactivated and bbpress started working fine

i understand dear.
I am just anxious.
because you know all you are dealing with are more or less technical and so they understand you.
but I have to take care of those who do not bother to understand me.

Looking forward for your next plugin.

I just checked _wpforo_profiles table… it is there.
The old user which i deleted with id=16 is still there but the new user i just have created with id=17 is not there… so all the problems are arising
please help
