    Good morning,

I haven’t been able to pinpoint the exact issue, but I did figure out a workaround to disconnect the A2 Optimized WP Plug-in and install and set up Jetpack. I was able to connect and configure Jetpack this way. However, I still cannot access the dashboard unless I disconnect that plugin. But, with the work around jetpack is up and running.

    All the best,

Okay, so I think I found the plug-in in question.

Though now I have another strange problem.

The plug-in in question is A2 Optimzied WP.

If I deactivate ALL plug-ins I get the correct message “XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.”

Though if I activate ANY other plugin while A2 is deactivated I get “You don’t have permission to access this file.”

If I activate ALL other plugins I get back to “XML-RPC is disabled”

And then from there if I deactivate A2 it goes back to “You don’t have permission to access this file.”

Furthermore, I have two other sites with the exact same plug-in/theme setup.

    fishpotrero.com
    thesausageguycr.com

Both of those give me the “XML-RPC is disabled” message, though Jetpack is up and functioning correctly on both of them. And all of these sites are on my A2 hosting plan.

I also have pacificsoulsailing.com and lilpepperpants.com on that hosting server and those both have zero issues, but do not use Astra/Elementor combo, but DO have A2 Optimize WP plugin.

    All the best,

    Jay

Sure, here is the URL for the website. I just reinstalled and activated Jetpack to test one last time and make sure the error persists. Let me know if you’ll need anything further.

    Thanks for your reply.
The shop page doesn’t exist because I have a custom shop/slug. Though I attempted the fix from Ahir above and it resolved my issue.
I’m guessing the custom shop and slug was the culprit for the misdirect.
Thanks for the prompt replies and assitence!

    All the best,

    Jay
