What do you mean delete or disable your Home Page? On the back-end you can go to Settings->Reading and change your Front Page to any other page that you have on your site. Is this what you mean?

You’ll need to edit your HTML structure and CSS. Unless there are options within your theme, I’d recommend reading up on the CSS float property.

If it’s a single ad code, like with google adsense, just add that code to your single.php file.
