Comments marked as spam stay in your database, marked as spam. Presumably it’s used for some kind of heuristic analysis of subsequent comments… I’ve taken to deleting mine, simply because they bloat the database too much for my liking! (Plus my WP install is set to require users to have a previously approved comment to post un-moderated, so it’s no big deal).

The only way I can think of is to copy/manually edit an .htaccess file into your DocumentRoot… uncertain, though?

Just quickly, cat-scan 1.0 came out last week or thereabouts, if you haven’t taken a look already + Gallery 2 isn’t working for you.

Alternatively, there are always gallery systems that don’t require a database. Cat-scan is one such project (disclaimer: I’m involved) — GPL Open Source — and is nearing 1.0, which will have an installer to make the process thoroughly painless (assuming you know a tiny bit about file permissions or are willing to learn).

Yep, in the footer.php. You can use WordPress’ inbuilt theme editor to edit that file, and you want to insert the code, as Joebar said, just above the HTML tag </body> (which will be towards the bottom, I’d imagine).

Err, that should be “parentElement”, I think. My JavaScript isn’t quite up to scratch, and I’d already made the edit on my local copy of the plugin and couldn’t remember what used to be there. ILoveJackDaniels.com is my friend.

There’s some JavaScript in there that screws this up. Search in adhesive.php for “.parentNode” (it’ll be part of a line of various other stuff) and delete that. This means your styles will only apply to the “adhesived” post.

Done. It also does a whole heap of symbols and various international characters (“international” from an English-speaking perspective, anyway – I’m sure there’s another term for it).
