  • Hello

Is it possible to add permissions via filter hooks in the meantime? If so could you point me in the right direction for this?

If not no worries! looking forward to the next update

    Cheers

Thankyou for the response Ondoheer, it seems as though there are other conflicts that I need to look into.

Thanks for all the assistance anyway, with the AFC issue resolved, hopefully I’ll find a breakthrough!

    Cheers

    Hello Steve

Unfortunately I can’t do that, as I cannot publish changes to the live site for my company. All testing so far has been done in localhost. I understand this is inconvenient, is there anything in particular that you would be looking for? I could try it myself locally and provide screenshots of the results.

    Regards

    Hello Steve

I installed and activated A3 Lazy Load version 1.8.7 this morning. Unfortunately, I have still had no success lazy loading any of my sites images. Has the issue been resolved for @ondoheer ? It would help determine if the problem is still due to ACF, or if it is something else I need to look into.

    Thanks for your time

Wow just reread this, no wonder you couldn’t help, my bad.

I’ve done some digging since I posted this, it seems that either our custom theme, or another plugin called advanced custom fields is stopping the images from being lazy loaded, and this is with every plugin i’ve tried as well as custom JS.

I tried using this javascript to see if I could find out where the problem is occurring. The observer window manages to correctly identify when it’s coming close to an image, but the actual lazy loading of the images isn’t working.

I’ve since passed this on to a more experienced dev as i’m pretty new to all this, and since the problem seems to be coming from elsewhere rather than your plugin i’m happy to mark this as resolved, but before I do is there anything obvious that springs to mind that we could try?

    Thanks for your time

    Josh
