I am testing out the plugin here in a sidebar widget.

There are two different icon widgets activated for comparison, but the white bar is there even if only one of the widgets is present. The google+ icon has different dimensions so I could see if the white bar changed size. The bar is there when using the other provided icon sets, as well.

That looks really good on your site, and it’s a great addition that elevates this theme. The cost of the plugin is a bit much for my purpose right now, but I will keep it in mind as I move forward.

I am trying to do the same thing: add author names under the titles on the main home page. I tried adding the previously mentioned function reference in a couple of different places in the content.php file, but the changes don’t seem to do anything at all.
