i suggest looking at bandcamp.com many other sites like this..for serious musicians – it is nice and simple to click on the music, read the words or buy the song..i would prefer to have my own widget (if thats the right term) inside my site but for now looks like i will have to link to bandcamp or something like that..

looking for multiple albums but i want the lyrics too..too bad..it looks nice..why is it so hard to find?..you would think this is basic..every musician has music and lyrics and many have more than one album..any suggestions?

any suggestions of which companies offer that? I got ‘elegant themes’ templates and among the shortcodes I didn’t see that option.

actually..i made a mistake earlier..it is live..its all working..but it works as mysite.com/wordpress i want people to go to mysite.com

as i said its in a subdirectory..how should i configure wordpress if my website resides in a subdirectory in my root folder?

thanks for getting back…im afriad to press the wrong button..maybe you can tell me exactly which one applies to me…what I have done is pointed my new dot com address to a folder in my root directory – so essentially it is a subdirectory – the hosting company had word press in the control panel and i used ‘simple scripts’ to install word press and i assigned wordpress to this dot com name (which is a subdirectoy folder in my root folder)…when i work in html all i do is point the dot com to the subdirectory folder, create an index.html file and it works..

i tried changing the site url – instead of mysite.com/wordpress to just mysite.com but that didn’t work..says page not found…but when the wordpress address and the site address are the same it works but only as mysite.com/wordpress

    any ideas?…thanks

sorry..made a mistake..if i go to a different computer and put in mywebsite.com/wordpress i see my site perfectly..the problem now is..how do I make it so that people will see my dot.com without having to put /wordpress after it?..is there a way to assign index php to the front page? in addition i am working with a template from elegant themes…do i assign it any differently in that case?..
