In reply to: [Participants Database] Tried to rename a field…Good news: I figured it all out, so no need to bother you again. This is the best plugin ever! It is a much better “event listing” plugin than anything else out there.
I feel like it’s my birthday and new presents keep coming in: I figured out how to change the titles… and remove them completely! How to change the size of the pictures. How to use the Groups – that is brilliant. Once I discovered I could move the groups around… and move the fields from one group to another… I rearranged them so that we have the Seminar Instructor’s photo first, then info about the seminar, then info about the instructor. The last thing I needed, I found the instructions a few minutes ago: How to only display Approved Instructors on the public list.
And I did all of this without knowing how to write code. I love it.
Now I’ll copy what I just wrote and use it when I review the plugin. Thanks for making this available. I will definitely send you a donation.

In reply to: [Participants Database] Tried to rename a field…I am working on a development site, so I can just start over and copy my setting to a new site, problem solved.
Just one question left: Can I change the name of the public ID field to something like “More” or “Info” to let people know they can click it?
No hurry on this, take your time. I just want to replace the current site within the next month or so.
Thanks.

In reply to: [Post Affiliate Pro] Opera Browser affectedThanks… I just tried it again and it seems to be working perfectly.
Must be one of those internet things I don’t understand.
I’ve been using Post Affiliate Pro since 2006 – but only the last couple of years on WordPress sites.
It has always been reliable and worked well. I am happy that it still does.
EdIt is fixed… working perfectly again. Thanks – fabulous plugin, great support. Ed
I have the same error message. Anybody find a fix?
Thanks.
EdInteresting – A couple of days ago I used this forum to try to find a way to get the premium support I am supposed to have. I also wrote to WC Lover via the “pre-sale question” link and they replied:
“SOrry for your inconvenience! The support has moved to a better ticketing system, however I reckon that you are facing a problem on raising a ticket from your end and this is happening because of browser cache, please try and open it in incognito mode and check if you are being able to raise a ticket.”
So I came back to update the post I left on this forum 2 days ago and the page is missing.
Actually, seems like other posts about support problems are also missing.
It makes me wonder: Is WordPress – or WC Lovers – removing this kind of post? I hope not because that would be unacceptable.
By the way, I cleared the browsing data from my Chrome browser and sure enough I was then able to go straight to the new support ticket system. Too bad I can’t update my earlier post with that information.

In reply to: [WC External Variations] External variation without showing priceThank you, that will be great. Thank you. Ed
Wow… that did the job… it works perfectly now… even better.
I disabled Jetpack and the extra space was gone.
Then I reactivated Jetpack and pasted that snippet in the Extra CSS area and it removed the extra row… and added just the right amount of space between the slider and the headline.
That is another thing I have been trying to do – drop that headline a little lower.
Thanks a million for this. We are doing a mailing tonight to let people on our mailing list know about our new store.
Now there are 2 new items on my To-do list: A 5 start review… and buy the pro version.
Better and better
Ed
