In reply to: [Visual Form Builder] Disable stori?g entriesHello Pietgolf,
If you want to bypass the storing of entries you may refer to our hooks page: https://classic.vfbpro.com/hooks/ and create a hook which will perform the action needed. Some development experience is required.Thnaks,

In reply to: [Visual Form Builder] Specific capabilitie(s) to manage entriesSure, if you get like the membership plugin, you can manage permissions in there. Just need the 3rd party plugin to do so.
Thanks,

In reply to: [Visual Form Builder] HTTP ERROR 500 after completionHello there,
I’d still lean to something going on with your server configuration. One other thing you might check would be for conflicts with your theme or another plugin, it is possible something else is going on here as well. You might to some conflict testing since this is unique to your website. Getting our pro version of course gives you literally 100s of more options and such. But I cannot determine wether or not it would fix the problem if there is another underlying issue you know?
Hope this helps,
Joseph

In reply to: [Visual Form Builder] Entries disapearedSorry about your issue, if it persists you may want to try to run a database repair on your website. Of course you would want to backup everything before doing that, just in case something goes wrong.

In reply to: [Visual Form Builder] Plugin stops working when there’s an update?Hello Hannab,
This is not really the case per say. It is likely it has stopped working because something has changed with your website or server. A recent update to WordPress (4.6) broke the actual email function within WordPress for several website hosts. WordPress fixed it with 4.6.1, it is possible these two things happened for you at the same time, by chance.
Thank you,
Joseph

In reply to: [Visual Form Builder] HTTP ERROR 500 after completionSorry it took me a little while to get back to you, 500 errors are server related. I think the next course of action would be to work with your website host on the error and your server error logs to see what could be causing the issue with your server or website configuration.
Hope this helps.

In reply to: [Visual Form Builder] Entries disapearedHello Quadratfix,
I can only think of a few ways this could happen really. One is that someone has deleted the entries by mistake or your website’s database is corrupted. You see the entry records to the database before it sends the email, so if the entry does not record right, the email will not send.
Hope this helps,
Joseph

In reply to: [Visual Form Builder] Can’t set a pdf to be uploadedHi Pirateofthesea,
As long as you have set the allowed file types in VFB, VFB acts as a conduit for file upload. There is likely a setting either in your WordPress or your server preventing the file upload. Here is something about WordPress file uploads: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-add-additional-file-types-to-be-uploaded-in-wordpress/
Regarding your server, it would be best to reach out to them.
Also double check the extensions on your files to make sure they are right as well.
Thanks,
Joseph

In reply to: [Visual Form Builder] HTTP ERROR 500 after completionHello Portpass,
The most common cause we see for 500 errors as it relates to VFBPro is that your server php version is outdated and no longer works quite right with newer WordPress versions. Please make sure your server is running php 5.4 or better. This is a good place to start. Thanks,
Joseph

In reply to: [Visual Form Builder] Specific capabilitie(s) to manage entriesHi Link,
Yes this can certainly be done not sure how User Role Editor works, but there are several plugins like memberships that allows you to set specific permissions that are available in your WordPress all of the VFBPro permissions structure shows up in those and can be toggled.Hope this helps,
Joseph

In reply to: [Visual Form Builder] File Upload Not WorkingHello Pasaisea,
The most common cause of uploads not working are:
1. File size is to big for your wordpress install/server settings. You might check to see what file size is allowed, each website can have its own settings, and each server as well.
2. File type not allowed, perhaps the file type is not being permitted by your wordpress/server or by VFBPro.
3. The process times out because the server upload speed, or user upload speed is to slow.
Typically upload issues are related to the website/server and not VFBPro, since VFBPro simply obeys the rules it is told by your website and server settings.
Hope this helps,
Joseph

In reply to: [Visual Form Builder] User notification mailHello Kumaresan,
Thank you for the message, can you please tell me which version of our plugin you are using? I’d like to explore this further. There should not be duplicate values unless there is something wrong with your website or users are pressing the submit button many times, etc.
Thanks,
Joseph
