If I understand your question, I don’t know where to find the answer.
In the activity log, when I click on the line item for my user, where it says on the right Form Submission Denied, and it takes me to the several instances he was denied, there is no explanation as to why he was rejected. AND, it clearly shows that the IP is on the white list.
I thought that IPs on the white list should never be rejected. Am I mistaken on this? OR, is there a setting where I can set it to be that way?

The problem appears to be broader and might not have anything to do with Contact form 7:
I now have my user denied access even though his fixed IP address is on the white list (and has been for a long time). I checked and his IP remained the same as the one on the white list.
This happens with the REST API switch on or off…
I had to disable the plugin to allow my site owner access. That’s not a good situation.
I hope you can respond soon so I can restore plugin operation.

No way to manually trigger that I know of… or is there?

Rather, WHY did I get locked out and how do I prevent this from happening again, given the settings I described to you. The blacklist/whitelist specification came from you; and even though my own IP is on the whitelist, it appears that the blacklist settings (*.*.*.*) blocks me.
If I am to use the plugin, I need to not be blocked… ??
Please help me understand how to set it up so that this is avoided.

JFThank you again for replying. But it would be a lot easier if you walked me thru the settings, as I asked for earlier.
For example, the current version has settings for BOTH Basic Compact Album AND for Basic Extended Album. As best as I can tell, both are in effect — I am not aware of a place where I am to select one of these two. Of course, it’s possible that I’m missing something, but that’s precisely why I asked for your help. But your last reply, the same as before, might assume that I know far more than I actually do. (On the other hand, I used this plugin when it was originally developed and had no such problems…)
I just revised the settings under both the Basic and the Extended Album settings section, following your instructions. Unfortunately, no change. Here’s what I get:
1. When I select Default, or Blank (“No Template Selected”) and I select Yes for “Display Descriptions,” I get only thumbnails on the Main Page listing the albums, without the descriptions.
2. When I select Legacy Album Extend (for both the Basic and the Extended Album settings), I get the desired look — a thumbnail and the description, for each album — but I get the error: the listing of the first album name above the first album box-border. Just so you understand, this is why I wrote you originally, last week.
So, we are back to square one. Where would you like to go from here?

As I mentioned, when I change the settings of the Basic Extended Album to “Default” the description text no longer displays alongside the gallery thumbnail on the Main Page — I get only the thumbnail.
I would like the gallery description to display on the Main Page.
Would you please provide step-by-step instructions on how I do this?

In reply to: [WP Fastest Cache] WP Fastest Cache not clearing homepage after new postOf course, I can delete the cache and clear everything, but I wouldn’t want to do it, especially not every time there’s a new post.
I already know that after I click Delete Cache (once or twice) whatever recent posts that didn’t show on the homepage become visible. So that solves my immediate problem. And, given that this solution works, it might suggest that this is not a browser-cache issue.
Ideally, though, you wouldn’t want to do this each time after the blogger adds a post. If you can think of something that might help so this becomes unnecessary, it would help.

It might be a browser-cache issue, but I’m not sure. I now know that, once I notice the problem, if I then do a Delete Cache and after that reload the homepage it will clear the homepage. (As I said before, I don’t think that the entire Cache gets deleted, but that’s not a problem for me in this context.)
I had used W3 Total Cache before, with browser caching enabled, and didn’t have the same problem. I find your plugin to be significantly faster than W3 on a site with a static front-page which I monitor continuously; I’m assuming it’s also faster with a dynamic WP structure like the one I’m writing about, where the homepage needs to be cleared each time a new post is added.
If you think anything else might help, please let me know – a cron maybe? But, then, I’d need to know how to tie it to the plugin.

Yes, I am all set up to use SendGrid, and have entered — smtp.sendgrid.com, my login and pw — but I cannot continue without the Web API check box visible. OR, am I missing something here?
On 2: Right. I assumed that was the reason. All the more, I need to be able to use the Web API
Please explain how I can make the Web API box visible and usable.

I set all my customized responses to “error” – the less information, the better. That’s why the concept of stealth mode was invented…
And I’m going to have to change my ip address to really solve this one…

Maybe I’m not describing it clearly. I’m getting this message when trying to login to my *main* domain name, which might not even yet have the plugin activated. (I’m not entirely sure because I was in crisis management mode after multiple hacking attacks and I didn’t finish installing the plugin on all the sites…) That’s why I thought the message is from my host.
HOWEVER, if it is not from my host, than it has to be the standard language, not my own, and if this is not standard language, then it must be coming from the host (despite their claims that they put me on the white-list). And the reference to ‘contact support’ also suggests that it might be from the host, not the plugin, right?
How long does it take to be de-listed from the network global list?
I think I’m going to have to get my cable modem replaced so I can have a new ip address to resolve this seemingly unsolvable problem…
