That pretty much answered my question as I now got my the slider appear. Didnt know that I have to turn it on from Featured Slider.

I would like to have it laid like in this img, which SHOULD be the default look of this theme

due to something I did with Reading-settings which I cant find how to undo.

I tried Settings > Reading, but I cant find anything useful there. It’s like once I turned it on, there is no way to turn it off. Or atleast that’s the way it feels for me.

It’s like after I did something with Reading-settings, something essential is missing from the theme’s Homepage in every theme.

Oh, now it is Hello World to me aswell …

I guess it is a problem with the host service then …

Well that is pretty strange as it shows as a “Coming soon”-site to me o.O

Any tips how to overcome this problem ?

No I haven’t spoken to my hosts yet, as I am not sure if it is self-caused.
