It seemed I had too much mp3’s on my server, and it was simply shut down. If you have your permissions right and it still doesnt work, chances are, that the problem is not WordPress related. Try to find out if you can upload stuff and make directories through FTP or maybe contact your host. Uploads through PHP could be disabled by your host and then changing the permissions probably won’t do much for you.

Hi Jeremy, you’re not the only one. I upgraded to 2.5 and went back again, because of other strange things. All was fine in March, but since April it won’t upload anymore. Same thing you have. Changing file permissions dont work… So I’m not really helping;)

Any new insights lately?

Unable to create directory /home/looze_sodap/DOMAIN-sodap.looze.net/www/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2008/04. Is its parent directory writable by the server?
