In reply to: [Export media with selected content] Fatal ErrorI’ve updated the requirements so this is more clear now. I’ve also removed the “short array syntax”. I don’t know if you can automatically update now to v2.1.1, otherwise try manually. Please note PHP below v7.0 is completely untested.

In reply to: [Export media with selected content] Fatal ErrorHi blvr_dev,
I think your site PHP version does not recognise the “short array syntax”, it must therefore be using a PHP version less than v5.4.
The plugin needs PHP v7.0+…
Hi Summerley,
The new version (released today) should be more efficient in large exports. Maybe that was an issue here. Could you try v2.1?

In reply to: [Export media with selected content] Please update compatibility informationHi Oscarcala,
Thank you for your feedback, I’ve updated the minimum WP version required to v4.5.
I would generally advise not to run such old WordPress versions, v4.5 itself is already more than five years old.
I’m afraid that most of the “not working” feedback is related to the ways different plugins and themes “attach” media to posts.
Hi,
This tool modifies the default Tools > Export function for when you want to do a partial export, eg. only the Posts or only the Pages.
In such a partial export it will include the related media, including the featured images. You can then import the WXR file into a new environment, it does not matter if it’s a fresh WordPress or not. The default WordPress Tools > Import routine (you will need the WordPress Import plugin) will download the images from the “old” environment so you don’t need to move the uploads folder.
When you do a full export using Tools > Export the plugin is of no extra use: in the full export all media are included.

In reply to: [Export media with selected content] it didn’t import rar and pdfHi Spiney,
The plugin does not filter on attachment type.
But plugins and themes tend to have different ways of “attaching” media to a posts and the plugin only supports the most standard WordPress types of attaching. Perhaps that’s the base of the issue you’re describing.

In reply to: [Euro FxRef Currency Converter] Live currency converterHi llakeland,
The plugin periodically updates the exchange rates from ECB (about every six hours).
Other than that: it’s a shortcode manually insert into your text and define your base price there. See description and examples and give it a try! ??

In reply to: [Export media with selected content] Large post import times out and failsHi,
Large imports with many images usually suffer from webserver timeout issues.
When you have access to the server using the command line, you should try to import using wp-cli.

In reply to: [Export media with selected content] Custom post types and date filtersHi,
I’m afraid that would be a major addon.
Usually an import breaks on a server-timeout. When you have access to the shell, you can use wp-cli to import, that does not timeout.

In reply to: [Export media with selected content] ERR_INVALID_RESPONSEHi,
Have you tested the same export without my plugin active?
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Export media with selected content] Import not workingGreat to hear it worked!
Server timeout can be an issue importing large files.
If you have shell access, wp-cli can help (because it won’t timeout).
Hi,
The plugin works with custom post types.
Perhaps Rehub does something in the export too, I can’t test since I don’t have Rehub.
Does an export without my plugin work?

In reply to: [Export media with selected content] Import not workingHi,
I don’t recognise the error you post but (using Google Translate) it seems to be an encoding error.
Does the export work without my plugin?
Is your (PHP) environment the same? Encoding errors usually originate from that level…
The missing images are usually listed in the import results. Do they have “funny” urls?

In reply to: [Euro FxRef Currency Converter] [currency_legal] includes link to 403Yes, I see, thnx for your report.
I’ve updated the plugin. Also, the published currencies have changed. This was updated in v1.5.
Hi, thanks for the tip. I’ve updated the description with your link.
