now it’s just showing me a warning saying ‘your connection is not private’

My home page header is a “custom header” from my theme panel library. When I load it on a mobile device, the header is huge and takes up half the screen, which is why I want to hide it and use a hamburger icon menu for mobile devices. I had to install a plugin in order to get a hamburger icon for mobile devices. I wish there was a way to just choose “hide custom header on mobile devices and replace with mobile menu”, but I don’t see anything that simple. Am I missing something?

Ok, what the heck, it’s not working anymore. I don’t understand why this is a recurring problem AND ITS SO FRUSTRATING. Now it looks slightly different but same problem:

Even when I add a new section on top its not wworking!

I added a new page with WordPress and the background is blank. So it must be a problem specific to that home page. I created a pre-purchase question.

Where is that CSS coming from and how can I fix it?

Perfect, finally a solution! I just replaced it by dragging a new section on top and now it works.

Hi, I had Elementor’s color pallete disabled so my website inherits the theme’s colors, but I don’t see any red selected in my theme’s colors, so where could it be coming from?

The horizontal scroll css trick did work to disable horizontal scrolling, however there is still a thin red line visible along the scroll-bar. How do I get rid of this?

Nevermind, it’s now working. I don’t even know what I did though. I only changed one background image, and now they all work. I notice my live site isn’t updating right away, so maybe that’s why I thought it wasn’t working. dumb luck. Thanks again

I tried changing the background in Elementor and it changes in the editor, but the live page is still a blank background.

I also checked the css file with path: /wp-content/uploads/elementor/css/post-153.css?ver=1511663641 that you mentioned above, and it’s showing the correct path for the background image as : https://www.julienkozak.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/fullsizejpegit-knees.jpg

Any other ideas to fix this blank background?

I don’t see a “Header Overlay” option. I only see disable or enable header. I had it hidden in the 1st screenshot on the original post in hopes that it would allow me to edit the top page section. I also tried disabling “Top Bar” but that doesn’t help either.

Should I be seeing something else?

I’ve also just noticed it works fine in Mozilla Firefox. Must be a Chrome thing?

I just noticed that when I’m on the editor page, I can scroll down and I still don’t see the save bar, but when I use a touchpad gesture on Windows 10 to view all windows, it shows up. As soon as I click it, it’s gone again.

Hey Nikhil, I switched to Elementor and a different theme and I don’t have the samme problem anymore. Thanks for getting back to me though.
