In reply to: embeded materialHow very odd. I haven’t come across this before. Not sure what else I can suggest really. The only other thing I can really think is it might be to do with the theme (I don’t really see why this would affect it, but there’s a possibility). You could try changing your theme back to one of the WordPress defaults such ast twentytwelve or twentyeleven just to see if it is working in a different theme. If it works in one of those I would suggest it could be your theme causing the problem.

In reply to: embeded materialAh ok, this is because you are saving as draft. I have had problems with this before when I saved a draft and went back to it things had disappeared. If you were to publish the page this shouldn’t happen, but If i recall some people have fixed this error by trying a different browser.

In reply to: embeded materialYes in the visual all you will see is a yellow box with a blue/white box in the middle of that rather small. But if you click update on the right and then go to your website and the page/post that you have updated you should be able to see it. Please note it may take a few seconds to appear.

In reply to: embeded materialOk so it’s html code. To do this, edit the post/page you want to add this code to. In the editor where you normally type your content for the post/page just at the top to the right you should see 2 tabs. 1 saying ‘Visual‘ and the second saying ‘Text‘ if you click Text you will now be working in the HTML editable area (dont worry if there is some odd looking text here that you cant understand). Simply at the very bottom Paste that piece of code and then Click back on visual. This will add the bit from Issuu.com at the very bottom of you post/blog. You can then carry on editing your post/page as normal to place your normal text where you want it in relation to this piece of code. Update the page and view and all should be working (it mat take a second or two for the added bit from issuu.com to appear)

In reply to: Cannot log into admin areaTo access the admin area you will need to go to:
https://www.mcrafthost.net/wp-admin/The login page will log you in but then take you to the front of your website. You cna still access the admin area this way. Once you have logged in you will should see a bar across the top of the page with the wordpress logo on the very left, then site name and a few other bits next to it. If you click your site name it will redirect to the admin area.

In reply to: seperator pageYou can achieve this with WordPress menus.
in the admin section navigate to:
Appearance > Menushere you can customize the navigation of your site. Use the larger block on the right and fill in the ‘Menu Name‘
Then use the the blocks on your left to add the pages you would like to display in the navigation area of your site. Once you have selected the pages you can drag/drop them into the order you want. You can also drag/drop them slightly to the right this will make it a sub navigation of the link not indented directly above. Hope that makes sense.
I can probably supply some screen shots if you need a visual explanation to clear up anything I may have confused you with.

In reply to: wp-admin not loading properlyIf it’s working on other computers / other internet connections I would suggest it’s a problem with your ISP (internet service proider).
I have just check the link and also /wp-admin where both work, i can see the main site and also the admin login. You may try clearing your borwsers cache, or resetting your internet connection / router.

In reply to: Parent pagesJust to clarify you want the something like the following?
when you hover over Garden photo’s sub menus appear for say Gallery 1 and Gallery 2?
To achieve this you can use the menus tab found at
Dashboard> Appearance > Menus
Simple use the large block on the left to name a menu. Add the pages you want to display as the menu using the “Pages” “Cusotm Links” and “Categories” on the right. Once you have added the pages to your new menu you can drag/drop them into the order you would like them to appear on the menu. You can also indent which will make it a Child of the page directly above.so you should have something like this at the end
Home
About Me
Blog
Garden Photo’s
– Gallery 1
– Gallery 2Once completed click save. Then the last thing you need to do is under “Theme Locations” On the left you need to select whatever you called your menu under ‘Primary Menu’ and click save.
Hope that is clear and makes sense.

In reply to: what does this fatal error mean?If you got it immediately after installing it without changing any settings or or editing any code I would try and reinstall yes just in-case there was an error installing it the first time round. Hopefully that should fix your error.
