I take it back: it’s an option in Jetpack. To disable it, just go into Jetpack and diable “Contact Form.”

Just noticed the same thing. Deactivating all plugins now, but no idea where it came from. If you figure it out, please let me know — already went through my functions file, and found nothing there.

Thanks, Jeff! I tried deactivating all plugins, then discovered that I’d actually disabled those notifications myself and hadn’t remembered. The joys of site development, when it stretches into several months!

Yes, I’m running a number of other plugins, but not that security one (I’ve heard of that as well). The only one I’d think might be doing that, though, is “Social Login,” but I haven’t been able to find other mentions of this happening with that one.
