THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP!!!! WordPress is a challenging beast to understand but you guys figured out my issue!!!! I went into the theme settings, found the “dynamic images” panel and turned off

“enable dynamic image resizer”

When i tried turning it back on, the same issue occurred, so I am just going to leave it alone!!!

I am so pleased that I don’t have to remodel my entire site!!!

thank you so much figaro. It was the uploads folder that needed to be 777. It is weird that it was like that.

also note, I have tried changing the permissions to 777 and the small jpeg file would still not upload with the same warning message.

my host DOES have GD lib installed on all of their servers.

Do you have any other suggestions? I really miss the functionality.

NICK TRIPP!!! I am so glad someone else is having the same issue! Have you had any updates? I am about to check on the GD status on my host.

do I ask them to install it on their php server? And if I say GD they will know what I am talking about?

I would love to able to choose those options. ANd I could in my older setup. However now using 2.7 those options are greyed out.
